Make Your Own Cupcake Goodies, Soaps, Candles, Bath Bombs

This tutorial shows you how to make your own cupcake bath fizzies with step by step pictures. Here is what you can do with those:

Doesn't this look delicious, just like the real thing? These cupcake candles are great as wedding favors, table decors at thanksgiving feasts, holiday or everyday home decoration, gifts, or selling at craft shows!

Here is how you make your own:

1. Buy colored candle wax chunks or white wax and candle coloring of your choice.


2. Melt the wax chunks in a saucepan on low heat (I do not recommend microwave!) stir it with a wooden stick while melting.


3. If it's white wax, add the candle coloring drops once it's melted.


4. Line silicon cupcake molds with cupcake paper. It doesn't have to be perfect!


5. Pour the melted wax in the cupcake molds. Fill the molds to the rim.


6. Insert the candle wick in the middle of the mold. Make sure the wick is tall enough to add the frosting on top of the cupcake layer.


7. Allow this layer to cool and harden completely.


8. Make the cupcake frosting:




1. Melt some candle wax of the frosting color you prefer.


2. Beat this melted wax with a wire whisk to give it a creamy texture.


3. Let it cool slightly until the texture looks similar to cupcake frosting.


4. If it hardens too quickly, re-melt and repeat the process.




9. Use a cake frosting spatula or icing bag with a star tip to lay out and shape the frosting around the wick.


10. Melt some red candle wax and let it cool off slightly, then sculpt it in the shape of cherries.


11. Use crochet needle or something similar to make a hole in the middle of the cherry to thread the wick.
