eyeclops night vision goggles

At first I thought that it was kind of weird that your vision comes from the center eyepiece mounted on your forehead like a third eye, but my son got used to it pretty quickly. There's 2 modes of operation - in stealth mode, you're invisible to other people your infrared visibility is decent. In the red mode, a light shows on the goggles, potentially giving away your position, but your night vision is better.

I tried the goggles in complete darkness and was able to see the walls and objects in our house, up to about 30 feet away. Because the field of vision is small, the night vision doesn't give you good
depth perception, but you get used to it pretty quickly. The key is to have night vision infrafred stealth goggles, not obvious ones.

I wouldn't recommend that you run around in the darkness with the eyeclops night vision goggles, but you can certainly walk around with little fear of banging into stuff. As long as you turn your head a lot, you'll take in your surroundings and be able to navigate.
