Why F5?
F5 is one of several function keys on the top of most keyboards. Pressing the F5 key in Internet browsers and various other programs causes the page to 'refresh'.
Why Refresh a Web page?
- A Web page loads incorrectly.
Sometimes a page takes too long to load, it stays blank, or the pictures don't show up. If you're not viewing it as the designer intended, you need to press F5. - A Web page may have been updated.
Sometimes your browser shows an old version of a Web page. You must check the server for the latest update or you'll be stuck with stale, out of date content. If you're not getting the very latest that the author has provided, you need to press F5.
Does Life need a F5 button?
- Sometimes my day loads incorrectly. It stalls. Things don't look right. I'm definitely not viewing it as the Designer intended.
- Sometimes my day needs updated. I'm focusing on the past instead of the latest the Author has provided.
