Fabrice Soulier - AKA Fabsoul

Fabrice Soulier, born April 23rd, 1969 in Avignon, France. Fabrice is a former TV director and currently France top player in the European poker rankings. He was one of the featured characters in the documentary "That's poker" (Arte 2006) which follows the lives of 4 professional poker players in Las Vegas, and he created the online poker magazine "Madeinpoker" in June of 2007.

After getting a degree in international relations, Soulier became an assistant film director, and then director of a French TV series until 2000. He directed the series "A Guy and a Girl," which received a Sept d'or award. He also worked as a director for the show "Farce Attaque" with Lurent Baffie in 1998, as well as children's shows for the Canal J Channel.

Fabrice has an impressive tournament record, and he has already played in three WSOP finals, among them a 10th place finish, a 5th place finish at the "Shooting Star" WPT final in San Jose, and a 13th place finish at the "World Poker Challenge" in Reno in 2006. Fabrice was ranked the number one French Poker player in 2001 and 2006.

Elegant by nature, he is the perfect incarnation of the "French touch" in poker, as his American adversaries have noted. Now, this French player is beginning to rack up impressive performances overseas. After having worked at his game at the tables at ACF, a Parisian gaming circle, and then concentrating on online poker for two to three years, Fabrice Soulier is today a professional poker player living in the United States. His name appears regularly among the top finishers at important tournaments.
