Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint was born on the 24th August 1988 in Hertfordshire, England. He is a actor most famous for playing Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter Series. But since 2002 has worked on many different projects alongside this franchise and since it ended in 2011 has gone on to work on many different projects. He has been nominated for several awards and won a Young Artist Award for Best Newcomer in 2002, and the Special Achievement Award for Outstanding New Talent again in 2002. - He owns an Ice Cream Van and a Hovercraft

- He left school at the age of 16 after GCSEs and focused on his acting career.

- Similarly to his Harry Potter character Ron Weasley he is arachnophobic

- His first acting roles were school productions and local theatre productions including: a fish in Noah's Ark, a donkey in a nativity play, "chorus thing" in Cinderella and Rump in Rumplestiltskin

- The first book he read was Each Peach Pear Plum by Allan & Janet Ahlberg

- He is around 5"7 which is 1.74m

- He has several pets; Ruby (a black Labrador) and Fudge (a chocolate lab) and many miniature animals
