My Life with Magick and Faeires By: D.J. Conway

Every one of us has curiosity about things that are different that shares this Earth with us. Fairies and I go as far back as my early childhood. In D.J. Conway's book, she offers us an explanation for all of those little magickal things that surrounds us in life. This book goes into detail about the different "clans" of fairies and it also gives a great explanation of the magick these little mystical creatures offer humans.

D.J. Conway gives fantastic art projects to do, offer guided meditation suggestions and writes in a way that is fully understandable to readers who are opened to believing in the magick in life. This book gears more to people who believe in actual fairies and who want to learn more about their magick.

This book gives the reader a different prospective on life and the mysteries that surround it. You either like D.J. Conway's writing or you don't, you either believe in faeries or you don't. This book will only be another fantasy novel to a non-believer.

In D.J. Conway's book "The Ancient Art of Fairy Magick" she explains that everywhere there is a plant, there are fairies. Indoors and outdoors-fairy's are by our plants. If you grow plants and do not take care of them; fairies will not be very friendly towards you, so seeing one will almost be impossible.

A little about the book

D.J. Conway explains, Fay are everywhere in nature even human size. The only place you are unlikely to see them is in the big cities. The Fay needs to live nature to stay healthy and strong and also fairies are not attracted to asphalt and buildings made from unnatural materials. Chances of city dwellers believing in fae folk are not that likely. To most city dwellers, fairies are old superstitions and myths. The fae folk do not waste their time or energy trying to convince humans they are real.

Little house fairies are very appreciative of a small bowl of water left out for them at night. This is the water they use to wash their young. Also when you leave out an offering for the fae folk of milk and honey and cakes, do not expect the treats to disappear, the fae drain the nutritional essence from the food instead of actually eating it. Be sure to dispose the leftover food the next day.

To repel negative fairies you can gather some oak, ash, and/or hawthorn and make a cross out of the twigs and tie with a red thread and hang over your front door. There are different kinds of fairies. The Fay are human size. They are very mysterious and elusive not really liking being around humans. The Middle East hold old stories about how sometimes Fay had children with a human partner or humans were lured into Fairyland for a period of time. The Fay and Elves are most intelligent of fairyland. It is said they carry a lot of Ancient wisdom.

The only time the Fay really interacts with humans is when the human truly believes in the Fay and attunes to nature and also when humans selflessly work in the psychic field. The Fay do not have physical wings but instead have an energy field on the upper part of their back, whereas fairies have wings like butterflies.

Do you think it is that impossible to believe in something that is different?

When my regular motto in life is: "Life is filled with magick, if we allow our eyes to see it." what does this sound like to you? If I see things in life differently and those things make me happy personally, does that really affect you?

One of the most precious gifts in life is when we find things in life that are beautiful and makes us happy in a world that often appears to be sad and ugly. I have always said this since I could remember, so many concepts in life are the same, but are viewed differently when different words are used. What I see is magick, other see as miracles. Many different words can be used, but they each describe the same thing.

How would describe the experience of watching a luna moth during its transformation?

I would view it as a magickal transformation-a miracle

SukoMiabals says:

Dying and being reborn again into something equally beautiful. Transformation is spectacular.

Derik says:

A long walk engulfs the dwelling of gnome

I see it as a natural process in life's cycle

I know I had my book here, so where did it go?

The small folk-winged fairies live under the supervision of the Fay. Their wings are like little butterfly wings made with mass energy that enables them to move quickly. Although fairies are usually about fun, joy, happiness and dancing, they can also be tricksters and mischief-makers on occasion. Sometimes, the small folk will borrow things from humans without asking than return it when they are done with it. They seem to do this with books a lot! Have you ever put a book in a certain place and when you went back for it, it was not there? Then one day it reappeared?

True Experiences of Mine
I have this happen all of the time. I keep several of my books in my Fairy work room, and I will go to get a book and it will not be there. I will go back a week or so later and there it is! In the same room, I have seen Fairy Orbs, and my yorkie reacts very playful, calm and surreal in that room.

Real Fairy dust does consist of sparkle and glitter. The fairy dust we use in the human world is only symbolic for what real fairy dust is. The small folk's breath contains tiny particles of inspiration that makes humans feel inspired in creativity. Have you ever been working on a project that you were very inspired to do and seeing the results of this project makes you all tingly and giddy? This is when you have been sprinkled by a fairy's breath!

I know fairy dust is real! I have seen it work symbolically, I have seen it work spiritually and I have personally witnessed it within my own life! Both, human physically fairy dust powder and the fairy's breathe!

The Egyptian mysteries are fascinating have you heard of Ed Leedskalin and Coral Castle in Florida? He claims he knew the secret building methods of the Egyptians, and proved it with his coral castle. To read more about this check out my blog here -> nibiru Great Lens by the way!

Thanks for creating this lens. In the Philippines many still live very close to nature. As a child, and even now as an adult, I hear neighbors, family, and friends speaking of "forest spirits" similar to what you describe as fairies. Not as fantasy, but as other beings living with us.

I didn't have any personal experience with this until I started learning how to meditate. Something about about quieting the mind brings us closer to the mysteries that are all around us.
