The Woodland Fairy resides in her own realm but sometimes can be seen dancing in the woods, playing with the animals, and creating mischief with unsuspecting mortals passing through the forest. They have a great affinity with wild forest creatures, and are considered, by mortals, to be quite impish.

Normally Woodland Fairies should consider muted, more natural eyeshadows, but in this instance I chose the glittery eyeshadows of Lime Crime, that should be applied delicately. But if you prefer more matte eyeshadows then try the NARS Sephora eyeshadows instead.

Faeries of the air are also known as Sylphs and they can create artistic clouds with their airy wings with cascading fairy dust clouds which float down to earth on our mortal heads.

Lipstick recommended is the new opaque lipstick by "Airborne Unicorn" when it becomes available.

Fairy is a spirit often metaphysical and supernatural and can describe any magical creature. One Famous Fairy was Morgan of the Fae.

Sprites are either Air Sprites or Water Sprites and are another form of Fairies.

Nymph meanings: "Nude Young Maiden", "young nubile maidens", "a female spirit", and is also associated with a veiled bride and hence a marriageable young woman.

The Ice Fairy floats down on gossamer clouds sprinkled with snowflakes. Her countenance is serene and refined as can be seen in her delightful fairy face. Her soft amethyst eyes depict her regal disposition. I suspect she's a true Ice Princess.

The purity of this angelic faerie can only be equal to her anticipated cool disposition, but looks can be deceiving with fairies once again; however, she is pure of thought and deed. She makes a stunning fairy.

The Cool Ice Fairy Makeup recommendations are:
Apply white eyeshadow to upper lid along with a liquid black eyeliner. Apply the black eyeliner under the lower lids and then immediately below blend in the Lilac Eyeliner. Then apply the white eyeshadow under the eyes, trying to avoid touching the eyeliners. If you overlap the eyeliners, then retouch. Apply the mascara last. For a more dramatic look put on long Black False Eyelashes.

If you find the white on the upper lids too dominating, then add a darker shade of grey or amethyst in the crease above the eye for definition.

Instead of white powder you can use a jumbo white ("Milk") eyeshadow pencil.

Recommended colored contacts are "Amethyst" by Freshlook 'Colorblends' (presciption), or Soft Lens Technology Venus Lenses - color contact lens in "Violet".

This mesmerizing fairy face is called the Bronze Woodland Fairy, because of her golden bronze eyes, sun-kissed lips and August bronze/blush.

The fairy makeup recommended for this woodland fairy are available at Amazon in the module immediately below, except for the black eye pencil or black liquid eyeliner which is first applied, then next apply the Smoke-Lilac 111 Eye pencil below the black liner on lower and above the black liner on the eyelids.

Apply the dark brown eyeshadow to the eyelids. I've opted for the 3 eyeshadow combo in various shades of brown to complement any eye shape.

Apply oodles of Black Mascara or opt for long Black false eyelashes for a dramatic effect.

"Autumn" colored contacts are recommended for Brown, Hazel, or Blue eyes ... (blue eyes with dark skin) ~ Autumn Radiance Illuminate.

I recommend Soft Lens Technology Bella - plano - color contact lens. Three of their colors would achieve the golden bronze eye.

Water Fairies are also know as Water Nymphs. The Water Sprite is, in essence, a Water Fairy, and is also referred to as a Sylph. They are mythological in origin and, of course, are associated with water.

This Woodland Fairy seems quite formidable, in fact she should be called Poison Ivy; so beware lest she causes you mischief as you walk haplessly through the Forest.

Woodland fairies guard their dwelling and hiding places with great vigilance. If the Woodland Fairy entrances a mere mortal man with her feminine and wild fairy wiles, she takes great delight in tormenting and teasing him to death.

Garden Fairies can be sighted among the flowers in woodlands, meadows, and streams, and sometimes even in flower gardens. Their endearing qualities and love of flowers, make them one of our favorite fairies!

A soft, very little glitter, eye shadow is recommended for the Garden Fairy makeup to depict her doe-like appearance and natural qualities.

This Autumn Fairy seems delightful and harmless enough. Looks can be deceiving though, especially when it comes to Fairies!
