Dreams Do Come True!

From the first moment we start imagining our weddings as little girls, it often seems like a fairytale. Bring those hopes and dreams to life by having a Fairytale themed wedding!

This theme works for any season - an outdoor spring wedding surrounded by wildflowers, or plan a breathtaking winter wedding in a candle-lit chapel. The possibilities are endless.

From enchanting accessories to captivating decorations, find everything you need right here to create your Happily Ever After.

Decorations set the mood.

The first thing that comes to mind when I picture a Fairy Tale wedding is twinkle lights. For an even more enchanting look combine twinkle lights with tulle. A few ideas are:

  • String lights across the ceiling, then create a canopy of tulle.
  • Wrap pillars with lights.
  • Drape tulle and lights along head table.
  • Outdoor weddings - wrap trees in lights. The more strings of lights, the more breathtaking the result!

Candles also create a lovely atmosphere at both the ceremony and reception. Some ceremony venues offer candlelit weddings where each guest is given a candle to hold during the vows.

To light up your reception tables, place candles every few feet. Outdoor weddings look great with luminary bags scattered about and lining walkways.

NOTE: Check with your venue to see if they allow candles - some have strict rules about open flame.

  • Fairytale Wedding Accessories

Add a little magic to your ceremony and reception!

Wedding accessory sets are a great way to add some flair to your event. Many come with matching toasting flutes, cake cutter/server, pen and guest book. Designs included in the Fairy Tale theme are castles, wedding coaches and crowns.

To add a whimsical touch to your wedding you can incorporate frog princes!

Accents such as ring pillows and flower girl baskets add a special touch to your wedding. The ones below read "And they Lived Happily Ever After . . .

My sister and her husband took a horse-drawn carriage ride after their wedding ceremony. Even though she didn't have a fairytale theme, she said she felt like a princess being delivered to the reception in the carriage! Awesome ideas for anyone's Happily Ever After :-)
