Lovely lens. Love their story. I've had a hardback massive collection book since the 70s. Never get bored of their fairy tales....

I love them...I've got a huge, thick copy of Grimm's Collected Fairytales and I still read them! I love them because they're not "sanitised" and they explore the darker side of life and that's great, because to me, these tales teach children that the world isn't necessarily a nice place filled with nice people and that's far more useful than anthropomorphic animals and bright colours :)

I did some anthropological research into fairy stories in College. Very informative. Have you ever read Vladimir Propp's Morphology of the Folk Tale? Check it out.

Rumpelstiltskin scared me as a child. What a great lens, I want to get a book with all of the tales in as they are a big part of my childhood but can still be appreciated today. Good stuff 5* and favorite.

I'm a fan of fairy tales, Mother Goose, and fables. These, often scary stories, allow our children to deal with their fears in the safety of a story, read alongside mother's knee.
