Developing A Relationship Of Faith And Love For Jesus Christ
Jesus is God made flesh so that we can live. Jesus is the only way to heaven. The reason that Jesus was made flesh was so that He could take the full punnishment for our sins because God knew that we couldn't do it on our own. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the WORLD that he gave His one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." He Loves us so much that He sent His only son to be a sacrifice for us. That is the kind of love that we need to share with everyone because it was meant for everyone. Jesus was not sent here to bear the sins of a few but to bear the sins of the WORLD!

My Background
I am just a sinner saved by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. I put my Faith in Him almost 6 years ago and have been fighting to advance God's kingdom ever since. In September of 2008 I started a blog with the purpose of advancing God's kingdom. It is called Faith For God" and it is meant to be a fun place where christians and non christians can enjoy music, jokes and more. It has a different kind of post for every day of the week. Sunday ~ Sermon, Monday ~ Music, Tuesday ~ Testimonial, Wednesday ~ Weekly Scripture, Thursday ~ Thought of the Week, Friday ~ Fun Fact, Saturday ~ Silly Jokes and Quotes. I hope you will stop by and visit some time. http://www.faith4god.com What's your opinion?
Personally I think that God loves everyone the same. Well maybe not the same but deffinately equally. Think about it this way. Let's say you have three children. One of them does everything that you want them to do and agrees with just about everything you say. Another child is sweet and loves you but deffinately has a mind of their own and expresses different opinions than you. The third child defies you and keeps to themself. This child is failing in school and expresses a distaste for family. Now let's say that you had to choose two of your children to live and the third would be killed. What would you do? Which two would you choose? Personally I would not be able to choose because I would love them all equally. They are all very different but they are all still your children. That is how God feels about us and that is why Jesus came to us. He chose to die in our place so that we could all live. That is the kind of love that God has for us. Different but equal.
Do you think that God loves everyone the same?

- Thanks PC! I Love how much thought you put into your comment! You bring up a great challenge for all of us who call ourselves Christians. As Christians we need to have the heart of Jesus. People should know without asking that we are christians simply because of our actions and the love that we project to others.....friend or foe![in reply to PC Leveare]

- Hey Pete, I agree that God loves everyone of us equally because 1 John, I'm sure you know, say's, "God is love". We could say, therefore, that everything that God does is being done by love for God is love. The question, I think, we should ask ourselves is what is love? We have a good idea of what love is, as defined by this world, but what I believe the body of Christ needs to begin to carefully look at is what is God's definition of love? We know that natural human will go as far as to lay down it's life for a friend. That's about the extent of natural human love, but God's love is much greater in that while we were His enemies (not His friends) Christ died for us! Now that's divine love. That's supernatural love. That's a love that cannot be duplicated by mere human inspiration or initiative. One must be not only a Christian but also a disciple of Jesus Christ to manifest this supernatural love, because this love is God himself. A disciple has a disciplined focus on Jesus Christ.
