John 5:17 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."
A few years ago I heard the founder of Australian Christian TV speak - I don't remember a lot of his talk but I do remember one particular phrase that has stuck with me ever since. He said "Whatever your passion is, that's your vision". It struck a chord with me and I realised that the very things that made me passionate are the same things that I do daily in my business, and through those things I know I touch many lives. I believe I am where our Lord wants me to be.
I've read Faith & Work: Do They Mix? by Os Hillman. Excellent book and it was whilst reading it, I got the idea for these blogs. I will be sharing what I've been learning through reading and research in the hope that it will also provide answers to your searches and prayers. Would love to hear from you. Bless you, KMT

Finding out about the Proverbs 31 Woman many years ago has always stayed with me. There have been times when I've wondered whether I'm a "Mary" or a "Martha" but I know my goal is, in fact, to be a Proverbs 31 Woman. So, it is my intention to work through this proverb, share my thoughts and I welcome your comments too.
I will be adding links of sites I've found relating to this subject and if you know of others, I'd love to hear about them. I know there are many other aspiring Proverbs 31 Women out there too! KMT

I was doing some voluntary work at my church recently and had a chance discussion with one of the women there, which actually led to the birth of this blog. She asked me who did I align myself with most in the bible?
I had to stop and think about that - I'd not been asked that question before and it had never arisen in my mind. My focus for the past year (2006) has very much been the Proverbs 31 Woman and today's Work At Home Mum and the correlation between the two. So I said 'Proverbs 31 Woman'.
But then I thought about previously how I've felt at different times in my life and have often waivered between Mary and Martha. I mentioned this and the 'syndrome' and the other lady laughed and said 'yes, the split personality'. She wondered off to get more envelopes and I thought about our conversation and wrote some of it down. It prompted me to think that perhaps I should explore this more and hence this blog.
