From the lens How to Spot A Fake Diamond.

Knowing about a diamond is really necessary before buying it from an online portal. There are many websites which sell great diamonds. But to find certified loose diamonds online is very difficult. Try to locate a correct diamond certificate before buying it from an online website.

I really do not have much of a clue on how to identify the difference between a real and a fake diamond. Thanks for the great lens I now will surely get a certified diamond and also take the diamond for appraisal to another jeweler.

This is great advice for anyone who questions if their diamonds are real or not. Some of the synthetic ones that are made now look very real to the untrained eye, so these are some good tips. I have a white gold diamond necklace that I got for a steal, and I wondered if it was real or not. I think it is!

Thanks a ton for that info. I just bought some Princess Cut Diamond Pendants and I was very worried that I had made a mistake. Fortunately, most people send a certificate with those too, so that was a big deal for me. Thanks again.
