The Falkirk Wheel is the world's biggest boat lift , transferring canal boats from the Union Canal to the Forth & Clyde Canal in Scotland , making it possible to sail from the west coast all the way over to the east coast
. The Falkirk Wheel is popular as a tourist attraction in its own right as visitors come to see the Wheel in action. Falkirk has a number of other attractions including the historic Callendar House where Oliver Cromwell stayed when he invaded Scotland. The Park Gallery is in the grounds of Callendar park.
