It's a New Season

The seasons have changed and it is time to get rid of the summer look and get ready for the beautiful colors of fall: orange, brown, bronze and red. You can get a great fall look by updating a few things and using some new accessories.

Change the color and theme of your room simply by moving around and switching accessories. Add some new pillows or a throw blanket to the couch to change the colors of the room. Use textures. Fall/winter is the time to use warmer fabrics. Stick to faux fur, chenille, mohair or velvet for a nice rich look. Get rid of your summer feel by changing the artwork on the walls to fit the season.

A great way to get into the fall spirit is with candles. My favorite fall scents include: vanilla, pumpkin, pine, cinnamon and apple. Another idea: get fall inspired candle holders.

Want to still have that outdoor feel even in the fall? Get some great indoor plants perfect for the fall such as orchids or succulents. This is also a perfect time to decorate with wreaths.

Below you will find fall accessory ideas as well as simple do it yourself ideas!
