    MMO's are just a geeky way of escaping from reality. Why else spent so much time in a fantasy world trying to improve a character made up of 0's and 1's?

    The game is being mismanaged by a bunch of people with inadeqaute experienced. Code is buggy, game rules are full of exploits, and customer support is widely hated for being stupid and arbitrary -- you can be banned from the game for the vague "violation" of "having a bad attitude." As a result, the game has fewer and fewer players with each passing day. it is a dieing game -- just like SigmaStorm2, Hunted Cow's other game that they recently announced they were going to no longer support.

    Because you cannot really enjoy the game without "donating" -- and will still be treated badly when you do -- save your time and money for a game with a future. Fallen Sword is going to die within a year, I bet.

    Don't waste you time with this game, played it for two years only to see first hand that the administrators are biased to the top 20 guilds. Doesn't matter what you do in the game, arenas, titan hunting, etc., they are biased and I called them on it, only to be black balled by the administrators in the arenas. Top guilds get changes made for them and all the other players are thrown to the way side, even if you donate. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PLAYING THIS GAME LIKE I DID !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is very true. My account was hacked and I lost a lot of stuff and I bet i donated $1000 to this game and the administrators more or less told me to bad. Not to mention the fact that a lot of the players on there is out to just help themselves regardless of what help you need. I will admit that there are some friends that I made on that game that I still hold to this day outside of the game and they are from very different parts of the world but I played for 2 years much like this kind fellow and only found these 3 players that I could call good enough people to be called my friends.

    Reading the threads here, I empathize, as well as agree on many points. However, like anything else, you need to be careful about who you associate with online. 1.) Hacking. HC has just addressed this by warning against any further use of bots to help player development -- largley because they lead to accounts being hacked. 2.) Yes, the Cows do seem to listen to the top Guilds because some of the suggestions that seem outlandish are considered, or you as the player, are ridiculed by others and your points ingored (via the player forum). 3.) You can earn the game currency, FSPs, and lots of it, through certain activities, without ever spending your own (real) money. The big way is through the guild conflict system. Alas, now the Cows appear bent on changing that system, so there will be fewer ways to earn FSPs within the game....Thayt's my real-time take on this, as a current and active member.

    I am a big fan of MMORPGs so any MMO by default has a positive vote though a lot of recent ones are more grind than anything new. I will try Fallen Sword for sure to see how great is.

    Keep your kids away from this stuff because it can become an obsession. My son played World of Warcraft and practically flunked a grade and he's extremely smart. He shows signs of addiction. Extremely up when time to play, and aggitated, withdrawn and aggressive when he cannot. And he can play this stuff for 15 hours on end.

    The game is OK, fun occasionally, but mostly repetitive, but what really wrecks it is the so called support people.
    They are incredibly unsympathetic, even if you lost a lot of the game currency due to their bugs or lack of testing - and some people spend real money to get this currency.
    Yes, real money certainly helps buy success in this game, and don't dare challenge or annoy the top guild in this game or you might find half of your own guild gets banned for no apparent reason, sad but true.

    This game sucks. It sucks because they designed a pretty fun game and then said, "now let's make it suck so people will be forced to purchase FSP currency." Really simple things like inventory slots or access to a bank cost FSPs. After wandering around with only 3 slots in my backpack and losing all my gold because I can only deposit 25% of it every four hours, I am done with Fallen Sword. If I wanted to pay for an MMORG, I would play WOW.

    Agreed,small advise for people here,if you have money and have guts to spend on gaming,this game is right for you but poor people like me who doesnt have money but are hardcore gamers, this game is not for you,its frustrating when you are playing hardcore but still cant level up much,cant have stronger character and suddenly a newbie comes throwing his dollars and reaches on top and whoops your ass.

    I agreed with nearly everyone. This game sucks if you don't have tons of money to waste on it. It's addictive but when you really see what it's about then you'll see that it sucks. It only be a while before you start seeing "Blood Golem" and "Stone Golems" where they only replace one word and aren't creative. And this game is a big bully game. I played it when the highest levels were around 200. One day one of the higher level players attacked a another. With the bounty system he placed a reward on his head. This wasn't the beginning though. The guy messaged he would pay other players alot of FPS to delevel the guy. The dude was nearly deleveled to the first level. And the GM's don't give a crap if you don't pay into the game. Overall it's a very reptitive game. My advice? Avoid it. It's a big bully game. The highest bidder always wins. Don't bother with this.

    game is ok at the start but does get boring very quickly but the best advice is don't invest real money into this game many of my friends got their accounts terminated for no good reason, and i found out later if you read their user agreement they say they can terminate your account for any reason and will not owe you any explanation for doing so, so play this game at your own risk and again don't invest real money that way when you lose you account you don't lose everything you paid for.

    I have only recently join FS and have found it addicting. It is lo-tech graphics and somewhat text based but the whole game is strategy based. I joined on 20/Mar/2009 and am currently at level 190. There are over 3 million members who play this game so it must have SOMETHING going for it. There are current memebrs who at levels 700 . Yes, you may want to buy Fallen Sword Points (FSP) to advance/upgrade your character but I have found one of the best thinsgto do is join a good guild. There you can get advice on how to handle a level, use guild equipment/armor, and receive buffs to enhnace your playing skills. I recommend you give it a try and see if it is for you.

    been playing over a month, have to say great game and have earned about 50 FSP from doing easy reward offers, bought two bakpak spaces and contributed rest to guild armor upgrades. level 63 and quite rich for that level

    i play fallen sword once a day. i help people too much so i have low stats and i am only level 27. i have been playing for a year and need some help but im doing pretty gfood. no i will not join your guild, give you gold or fsp but i do sell avatars at a 4 star rating. some at 5 star. please help me with armor and items if you can

    cool game, but it only starts newbie's out with 3 backpack slots. you either have to pay cash for more, or wait till your deep into the game. Seems they would want newbies doing the quests and stuff .. so makes little sense to me why they restrict the backpack slots so baddly on new users. 6 should be enough not to discourage people from playing, and thus more likely to donate towards the game.

    There seems to be a lot of "This is good" or "This sucks". Personally, I think that if you don't have a valuable contribution to the discussion, don't say anything. Now I have been playing the game for about 8 months now, and yes, I would recommend it to anyone. However, if they don't enjoy it, that is fine, but you don't need to blast it all over the internet and maybe change the minds of people who actually wish to play and help expand the game.

    Fallen Sword rocks. I've been playing for over a year now, and just hit level 155. It's the longest I've ever stuck with a game. I have a real awesome guild too. WoSM all the way.

    Love this game. My friend introduced me to it and I got totally addicted. It's fun and it eases a-lot of stress and anger. Which needs to happen now cause I do not talk to that friend anymore, lolz^^ Highland Castle Knights and The Dragon guilds are awesome. I've never really figured out how to get FSP from the surveys. Too much spam. Scared Hitless is also a very awesome guild and is part of the Top 250. The Legacy of Fallen Gods is a new guild. There's so many levels in the game, you can't help but have fun.

    I played fallensword for a total of 20 months and it was total blis to start off. LE events games and little things here and there to keep players excited. Level 500 now and in the top 250 player and donated over $5000 I turn around and had a good look at what I was doing in this game. The game is still the same but thats it nothing has really changed and it's getting lame. I liked it better when hoof (programer for HCS) was around and dealing with all the game content. Grim (wanna be programer for HCS) his high and might attitude towards everyone now that hoof is not around to keep him under toe.... This game is starting to suck. I am not the only player who feels like this either.

    Now I am thinking I might just go and have a BBQ and make the most out of them cows........................

    I play Fallen Sword all the time. I am only level 63, but I have donated $530 to the game. Which has made me a Fallen Sword god. My Fallen Sword name is Sasori10 add me if you want. Just do not ask me for gold, or fsp. It is really quite annoying.

    I'm more of a casual gamer, and I love the fact that I can jump in and jump out of fallen sword easily. There are some things I would change, but all and all it is a great game and I find myself playing more and more. Some people burn out in the level 8-15 range from what I hear, but if you stick with it the game gets more and more fun. I wouldn't buy to much stuff from the auctions, it is better to find it on the quest, unless you are into pvp then you want to max out your gear. Joining a guild is a good thing and will help you out with the game a lot. I was fortunate enough to join a pretty decent guild, which almost makes killing things at level 14 too easy. I'd give the game a try. If you are a hard core WoW or 3D gamer, you may not like fallen sword as much. But there is enough there to keep most of us entertained.

    it was pretty fun in the start... got kicked from a guild (that was not fun)... at it took me 3 months to get to level 30.... then, just today, MY ACCOUNT GOT TERMINATED FOR NO REASON!!!! I'M SO ######## MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am on FS & I think it is an AWESOME GAME - it reminds me of the "Old School" games like Zork, D&D and the Original Ultima series - kinda puts an age to me.... Sneaky1 is my FS name, I am a lvl 160 in FS and have been playing since March 2008, i own the guild Majestic Kingdom. And Yes I BUY FSP to support the guild.

    Advising people to attack other players is bad advice. Anyone who has played the game for more than a few days will probably bounty you and/or get friends to come after you. Personally the first time someone attacks me they get at least a regular bounty, but if i'm cranky they get deleved by guildies. If they attack me again , a whole world of hurt comes down on them. Going around randomly ganking other players isn't a good idea.
    There are plenty of ways to enjoy the game without ruining it for others. There is a pvp arena if that's what you're into.

    FS is a good game it takes about 1 hour to finish playing plus u can get FSP from surveys and if u dont want junkmail just lie some of it works and some doesnt. Its simple to earn gold and u can get started by joining a guild and buying any sets possible and soon egough u can become a god in it.

    one of the best free RTS I have played. It is addictive (lvl 29)out of 400 You can gain Fallen Sword Points (FSP) with out having to donate cash (I have not paid anything to date). Lots of leveling up and you do join guilds with interaction with other players that help you as well.

    im a lvl 46 and i play often the game rock face it all you loosers, youv'e never plated a mmorpg quite like tis, with over 1000000 players and expanding AND, lots of donationd for getting fsp. It expands weekly and you are dumb if you think it is rubish....ps any lvl 25 or higer, look me up on fsp and go to my gild and request to join...rising gild.

    Rich is dumb you can make money on skills every body does it and your best bet to lvl up is buy skills or buffs especially doubler, adept learner and librarian. those are the best for leveling up. you can chat with people if you are in a guild an the pm is easy to use you just hit reply to the message you just got so Rich you are dumb. and make sure when you start out to save all your skill points to use on better skills you get later.
    fallen sword is cool so check it out.

    Game is very cool. Just the getting the FSP's are a pain but rest is cool. And please other dumbasses dont compare a webbased game to other that are interactive like Runescape or others. FS is a MMORTS a Real Time Strategy game. Takes strategy on what you are gonna do and w/e. Dont compare FS to Runescape or Lame Craft (world of warcraft) cause they are different...

    Probably the best text based game i have ever played. Stamina is a bit irritating though. and FSP is to hard to get hold of.

    is it any good to try bucause i dont want to waste my time setting up a game i will hate i mean there are a lot of games that look better but take longer to set up..i am a online game junkey so if u think it is worth it i will try but i ahve high expectations of games

    I play FS at work. When I'm at home there's too many other games I want to play that are (no offense) better. However during work when I don't have time to dedicate but a couple clicks every few minutes it's PERFECT ;D

    Having played for some time and am currently at level 85, the game is getting interesting for me, it is a slow paced game i agree and something you might spend an hour on a couple of times a day,
    the game is a time passer and nothing more in my eyes. addictive in its own way

    Umm..theres a ton of things about fallen sword that are total garbage
    1. Complete lack of interactivity, you cant just chat with someone, you have to pm them every time.
    2.You cant make money with skills...which is a total downer.d
    3.Even in the lowest of mmrpg(runescape)you can run around. FS Blows

    Ive only just started, so i dont know if my opinion matters much -yet-. But i like the fact that you cant sit there forever, that it is built in a way that you might like to stop by maybe twice a day or so, and then only for a while... unlike many other mmorpgs that get in the way of everything else
