My son was having difficulty in school with his reading, writing and spelling and although I tried to encourage him any way I could, he had no real interest in learning. He just wanted to play. So I thought to myself "what will I do?" I didn't want him to sit in front of the playstation for hours and many of the games on the playstation are not for his age group so I started looking online for kids computer games. I found a lot of sites but the one that I found the best was Big Fish Games. There are a huge selection of games available, that are fun and educational and having played many of them with him I can honestly tell you, the improvements have been amazing! He now loves to read, his spelling improves everyday and his writing has gotten much better because he now has an interest in it.

Hours of endless fun with this simulation game, Fish Tycoon put's you as the owner of a tropical fish shop, you have several different tanks and you must grown and care for your virtual fish as well as manage the store and advertise to attract more customers. You set the price for the fish, too high and customers wont buy them, too low and you won't make a profit!

He had the whole family playing this game, its been great fun buying and selling all the different breeds of fish and buying the fish tank extras to make your fish sell quicker and of course searching for the magic fish! The magic fish have all different magic powers that help you in the game. Great fun and his favourite game so far...

Ihave to admit, you don't have to only play the games with your kids, there are hundreds of games, puzzle games, action games, adventure games and loads more. I play many of the games myself and I introduced my son's grandmother to Big fish and she liked it so much she is now a game club member and plays all the time!

When we have completed one game, I simply choose another game I think will interest him and try it out, If I think it is suitable, as in clear instructions, not too complicated, suitable for his abilities etc, I then get the full version. He plays most games over a period of weeks, and he also plays games he has already finished again because he likes them so much.
