This an obvious parody of the typical struggling actor in LA, and involves Brain moving in with his gay cousin Jasper, where is struggles to make ends meet, and is forced to take on menial jobs to survive. Brain finally lands a job as a writer, however he get mistaken and ends up as a writer for the porn industry...

Mean while Stewie lands a role on "Kids Say The Damdest Things", which is he only takes part in so that he can use his latest brain washing invention. However, the host Bill Crosby unknowingly uses the device to brain wash Stewie.

My favorite part from this episode is how they poke fun at Bill Crosbys antics by parodying the way he behaves.

Family Guy Box Set - Family Guy Presents Blue Harvest (Special Edition) [DVD]

This episode titled "He's Too Sexy For His Fat" from season 2 episode 17 starts with the family moving into a hotel because it has been destroyed by bug exterminators who think they are a police SWAT team.

The family move to a hotel where Chris becomes self conscious after being ridiculed by the staff for his weight problem. Lois and Peter encourage Chris to undergo surgery, but Chris backs down at the last minute, while Peter takes up the offer.

At first Lois is thrilled with the new look, but soon becomes annoyed as Peter lets his look go to his head. Throughout the episode Peter is consumed by his handsomeness, and ends up causing a car accident while admiring himself in the car mirror. The car crashes into a lard factory, Peter falls into the tub and accidently swallows the entire tub. Peter becomes overweight again and to his families pleasure returns to his former self.

I think the best part of this episode is the final scene where Peter is driving and can't stop looking at himself in the mirror....

This episode cleverly titled "Wasted Talent" from season 2 episode 20 has a plot that parodies "Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory". This episode involves Peter and Brian drinking as many beers as they can in order to find the silver scroll, which will get them a ticket to tour the brewery factory.

Peter finds the winning scroll and together with Brian they tour the brewery. However, Peters love for beer lands him in trouble as he and Brian disobey the rules by drinking the forbidden beer which never goes flat. This results in the two getting kicked out...

Peter returns home drunk and shows he has a hidden talent by performing brilliantly on the piano. Lois is delighted to see her husbands ability to play perfectly when drunk and encourages him to keep drinnking so that she can beat her rival in a local piano competition. They end up coming first place, despite that fact that Peter is so drunk he doesn't know where he is...

There are so may funny parts to this episode, but one of my favorites is when Peter runs home after winning the silver scroll, Peter falls over and scraps his knee. While sitting there holding his knee he breathes slow sharp breathes in, which is a subtle reminder of something many of us have done as kids...
