Halloween is one of our family's favorite holidays. We don't have to travel but we have lots to do!

Halloween fun begins at the pumpkin patch

We always begin our Halloween fun with a trip to the pumpkin patch to select the perfect pumpkins

And dressing up is lots of fun

Due to our variety of activities we often have to have multiple costumes for every season. School doesn't officially celebrate Halloween but instead has some sort of themed costume party which usually calls for a homemade costume (last year's theme was Wild West). We do usually spring for a "real" costume for the actual event and indoor parties but opt for something wild and crazy (made up from old costumes, toys, and whatever we find around the house) for outdoor and barn parties.

Halloween parties are so much fun

We enjoy casual parties held in barns...

...and BIG parties with lots of friends

But the very best thing...

...is just having fun with friends!
