Family movies for you and your kids to enjoy!

Family and kids movies are one of the major genres in the movie industry with one coming out almost every week. Children want to see everything (including the Rated-R movies but I'm going to assume you're not going to take them to one) so as a parent you have to pick and choose and quite often you don't know what's coming out in the later months so you find yourself wasting all your money on the bad family movies instead of the good ones. This lens was created for parents, guardians, etc. who want to find out about movies coming out soon or who just want to know what movies are available to them right now. I hope you enjoy this lens and for those who have kids I hope it benefits both you and them!

Pixar Animation Studios

Pixar Animation Studios has been there since my childhood. Their movies are all amazing with no bad releases. They have made us laugh, they have made us cry, but above all else they've allowed us to imagine wonderful worlds, where ants and grasshoppers are at war, where cars can talk, where monsters are real, where toys come to life when no one is around. They have kept our children happy, and our adults smiling, not once has Pixar let us down. As a young adult I can say without shame that Pixar is my favorite production company and I hope they never leave.



Toy Story 3 is one of my favorite Pixar movies, it is probably the best movie the studio has ever released, and probably one of the best movies of all time.

Walt Disney Pictures

Walt Disney Pictures has been with us since 1932. Most of the people alive have grown up watching Disney and their memorable characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and so on. Not to mention their classics such as Cinderella and Snow White. So much hate is towards Disney with subliminal message propaganda, and satanism messages. Lets not forget all the valuable lessons Disney has taught us through their movies throughout the years. Disney has encouraged us to follow our dreams, it has inspired us to be what we want to be, and chances are that your favorite movie as a child was a Disney movie, or a studio owned by Disney.



Tangled is the latest theatrical release from Walt Disney Pictures. It is an excellent movie who brings back the vintage Disney feel.

DreamWorks Animation

DreamWorks Animation, there is so much I can say about DreamWorks Animation. They have brought us the greatest kids movies of this decade, such as Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, and so on. They do make good movies, great movies, but the problem with DreamWorks is the sequels. As a child you can enjoy anything, but for an older audience the fun stops at some point. They brought Shrek into the ground with three unnecessary sequels, and I fear they might do the same with Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon.



Megamind is the latest release from DreamWorks, Will Ferrell is hilarious and overall it is a great movie.
