Does Your Family and Friends Understand Your Love For Squidoo?
If you are like me, you have become obsessed with Squidoo. I find myself talking more and more about my activities on Squidoo and my new Squidoo friends. I am afraid that my family and friends are getting quite bored with this. They don't understand why I haven't got the time to do the things I used to do but when you sit at the computer just about all day, there is little time for anything or anyone else.
Squidoo is very addictive, isn't it? What do your family and friends think?
This is what my children say about Squidoo:

Today was the day
I was going to pull away
and Not Squidoo!
I had other things to do
Wash the clothes and mop the floor,
grocery store and clean some more
Cook a meal for a change
Wipe the dust off the range
Squidoo has taken over my life
I'm not being a very good wife!
Nothing has been the same
since that day Squidoo got my name!
Today was the day
I was going to pull away
and Not Squidoo!
Hey just one peek won't hurt a thing
Then I'll scrub and scrub that stain.
I'll just pop in for only a sec
Then I'll sweep the entire deck.
I'll study my dashboard to see how I've done
Checking my stats is always fun!
Then check my email and I should have known
There was a note from my sister, Joan!
Go to this forum and go right now!
They're all writing poems and they really know how!

It shouldn't take long, it's not a book!
But what do I do--I begin to write
Now I'm still here and my house is a site!
Squidoo, you've got me hooked really bad
Surely it'll pass and is only a fad..
My hubby is jealous and getting mad
My home is really looking very sad!
But I love to Squidoo so what can I say?
Those household chores will wait one more day!

- I would need to explain it a little more to family, just what Squidoo is, but my husband is fine with whatever I enjoy doing online. What can he say? He enjoys online gaming, and at this late stage in life, just got his first motorcycle. Love your Rhyming Squidoo poem ... priceless!

- Ha Ha! [I am thinking to myself!] What did the "family" think of me and Squidoo? Well, I don't think he ever fully understand it all ... now that we are divorced, it's a different story. It would appear that my mom is on board and does understand. Merry Christmas Nancy.

- I wish I had more time to create more lenses, as I love to Squidoo, and the last few months there has been a lot of energy and activity on Squidoo as well, and I feel the need to be even more creative. I just wish I could get my wife (Debnet) feeling well enough to be creative and work alongside me in creating more lenses as well. Maybe if her lenses got more traffic and love she might feel up to beginning again.
