Well of course the advantage to eating at that famous restaurant is that we don't have to clean up after ourselves because we all know how much we hate that part. We also have a menu in front of us that allows us to make a variety of decisions based on what we feel like that day, not a lot of thinking required.

The disadvantage is those long line ups to get a table in the restaurant and you stand there waiting with your mouth watering from the aroma of the food being prepared. We need to get there too plus eating out can get costly, so at the end of the day you end up paying a lot more money eating out then if you just made those famous restaurant recipes at home.

The positive thing to cooking at home is that it's made with all KNOWN ingredients and your not surprised by what ends up in your dish or what ends up on your waistline.

The hard part about cooking at home is that you sometimes find yourself at a loss for what to make. So you scramble through the cupboards trying to please the whole family with something interesting but everyone responds with "no i don't like that" or "no thats boring" or "no we had that 2 days ago".
