Moose the Jack Russell Terrier
Famous Dog on 'Frasier'
Moose is better known as Eddie from the 'Frasier' long-running television hit show. He became known for his staredowns with Frasier.Moose was born in Florida on Christmas Eve in 1990. Sadly, he died in June 2006. But he lived a very long life in dog years.
Moose became a famous celebrity because his original family found him too hard to handle. They complained that he chased the cats, chewed up everything, and was always getting into trouble.
He was adopted by a company that trains animals for movies. Moose's trainer said that Moose got the Frasier gig after just six months of training.
After eight years, Moose retired. His son Enzo took his place. Both Moose and Enzo starred in the movie "My Dog Skip".
Peri Gilpin, who played Roz on Frasier, owns one of Moose's sons.
