I adore Anne of green gables, I watch it every year around christmas. And that poll was very tricky to answer, how can you just pick one :)
  • fefe Oct 23, 2011 @ 11:22 am | delete
I guess I should have added 'I love them all' to the poll.

Wow, I didn't expect to see Anne of Green Gables on Squidoo. Great!

Thanks, it's one of my first lenses from a few years ago.

I have the Anne of Green Gables series in the prominent position occupied by only my most favorite of books--one top of my handmade bookcase between two marble feline bookends. At one time, I was selling used books on Amazon and I'd very briefly considered selling these. But I picked them up, paused and put them back between the bookends without even checking to see what they were selling for. Couldn't part with them. It's been 20 years ... maybe I should read them again.

I think that the producers of the series could not have chosen a better actress than Megan Follows for the role of Anne Shirley.

This is a great website! So many great links. I noticed that the movie website isn't the most current link. You can now find everything about the Anne of Green Gables movies at www.anneofgreengables.com.

They are also hosting an online short film festival. You can enter an Anne related movie for a chance to get it on the next Anne of Green Gables DVD. IT's pretty cool.

If you'd like, you could add this site to your Megan links. It's a brand-new, up-to-date site about Megan.

I love these books. I have all of them thought just recently that I'd like to read them all over again. So what if I'm a grandma!

I have added you as a featured lens on my L.M. Montgomery page. I guess that makes us "kindred lenses!"

I LOVE these books and movies. And I never knew there was an Anne of Green Gables Store. At Epcot, they have a section in Canada, as well. Lots of fun. :)
