Welcome to this page filled with interesting and beautiful squidoo lenses. I was made an Angel on February 11th. I am the resident Angel for 2 neighborhoods: collecting memorabilia (Hobbies, Games & Toys » Collecting > Collecting Memorabilia) and rock climbing (Sports & Recreation » Sports > Rock Climbing). Both topics interest me: I do practice rock climbing and I am avid collector (stamps, banknotes, postcards, old photos and vintage jewelery among other)

What is a blessing
A squidlike with some power
When an angel bless a lens, it gets a little lensrank boost (temporarily). It is a way for squidoo to say "great job".
What lens will I bless? First I will bless mostly lenses from the neighborhood I have been put in charge of (rock climbing and collecting memorabilia). I will check out these sub-sub categories on a regular basis, and will use the search tool to check out lenses that could fit loosely in there. But as an angel, I am also allowed to bless any good lens I come across, and will be happy to do so. The angel are assigned to categories so they can spot good lenses and spam more easily but we can roam and get lost!!
Another thing I want to clear: shopping lenses are perfectly ok and will be blessed if they are worthy! Shopping lenses are not spam, nor inferior and second class lenses. Unless of course they fall under some of the big no-no I listed (keep reading).
As you may know (or not) English is NOT my native language. Many lensmasters have English as a second or even third language. They should not be penalized because of that.. So unless your lens is totally unreadable or written in leetspeak or text message it won't be a criteria for me to not bless it.

Here's a couple of thing I don't like to see:
- 1Anything against TOS (see "Dark angel" below)
- 2Plagiarized content. Don't do it. Write your own stuff. Of course you can quote from sources, but if your lense has copied and paste stuff with no credit, or if everything is not original (even if credited), it is not good.
- 3Too many default module titles. Change them, it is for your own good anyway since good module titles help SEO. I will probably go ahead and bless annyway, but may sent you a message about changing your module titles.
- 4Default bio and/or the ugly orange guy as avatar. Take time to fill your bio and avatar. Unfortunately, lens with the big ugly squid and/or default title have a spammy look. Don't shoot yourself in the foot!

I also have the power to hurt spam lenses
When I bless a lens, it gets a little temporarily boost in lensrank (plus the extra comment on your guestbook and a regular squidlike rating and the points you get from my blessing), This is the pink part of my job.I also have the power to ding a lens. If I ding a lens, it will take a fall in lensrank and will also be reported to squidoo HQ as spam (and hopefully the lens will be locked and the lensmaster might even be banned). Why angel would do such a dreadful thing?? Well simply to keep squidoo clean of spam. I will only ding spam lenses as spam is defined by squidoo (keep reading). I will never ever ding a lens that is either just not good or incomplete!!! These I just ignore.
Up till now I have ding twice (2 different lensmasters) and report to HQ. All their lenses have been locked. Once these spam lenses are gone, good lenses took their places in ranking and that is a good thing.
