Are you ready to be a fantasy football commissioner? Any other questions on how to be a commissioner? What do you expect from your league's commish?

    i have a league where i offer incentives every week. $10 to anybody can guess all the winners (chances are 1 in 32 with a 10 person league), $5 to best smack talk, and every now and then random things like $5 to a kicker that gets 15 pts or has a team where every player hits their projection. also rivalry week is huge. get great match ups and titles like an army vs air force dude and it was The Military Ball

    Nice lens, I have been a FFL commish for about 6 years and it always a lot of fun if you have the time.

    if people you have invited are unable to register(because they dont have wi fi), how can you register them?

    If they don't have internet access, they can't play in an online league.

    If they don't have access because they're out of town but will be back BEFORE the draft, you can either:
    (1) extend the registration deadline or
    (2) set up a free email account (Gmail, Yahoo, etc), use that to register their team then give them the email ID and password so they can take over the team before the draft.

    I'd only do option 2 if it was someone that I trusted to be back in time for the draft. Otherwise you run the risk that you'll have a team with no owner in your league. They have to be there for their team's draft (or at least set their rankings to let the computer auto draft for them).

    This is my first year to be league commissioner and it is really fun. I have a great group and we come up with trophy ideas and more together so it really is a group effort.
