Who is Farrah Fawcett

Farrah Leni Fawcett was born on February 2,1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her father wanted a boy, so growing up Farrah had the best of both worlds. Everything from baseball to ballet. As a child Farrah had always been told how beautiful she was.

During college she joined the Delta Delta Delta sorority and was photographed as one of the top 10 "Most Beautiful Coeds" from the university, which ran in a magazine. A Hollywood publicist saw the photo and asked Farrah to move to California, which she did in 1969 with her parents permission.

She starred in several commercials and some movie guest spots during the late 1960's and early 1970's . It wasn't until she was asked to star in Charlie's Angels that her career took off. Her hair do became famous for the women the "Farrah do". All the ladies wanted to sport the big hair.

In 1972 Farrah met Lee Majors who was also an actor at the time, a year later the 2 married. She starred in a couple of movies here and there, it was the role in Charlie's Angels that made her famous.

The show became the most popular show on television but due to the long hours of work that she was putting in it took a toll on her marriage. Farrah and Lee began to drift apart, after just one year playing a detective on Charlie's Angels she left the show.









She wanted to pursue her career doing roles in movies. She starred in a few movies that failed such as Somebody Killed Her Husband , Sunburn and Science3 and to make matters worse her marriage was over, she and Lee divorced in 1981.
At around the same time of her divorce she started seeing Ryan O'neal (actor) and later moved in with him.

Finally she made a come back with a role in The Burning Bed. In 1985 Her and Ryan had had a son Redmond O'neal, who she chose to keep out of the spotlight. Farrah went on to perform roles in different movies but we all know what made her so famous Charlie's Angels and when someone says Farrah we all think of that show.

Farrah was diagnosed with cancer in September 2006. At first she didn't want to come public with it because of all the media. She took treatments and the Dr's told her she was cancer free.

When she went back in May 2007 for another scan to make sure the tumors were still gone she got the bad news. The cancer was back and had spread to her liver. She took her camera along thinking their was going to be good news, from there she started her story.

She wants to let the world know about this aggressive disease. The doctors told her their was nothing else they could do for her but she did not give up . She did excessive research on Anal cancer and decided to go to Germany and take experimental treatments they offer there.

It helped for awhile and the cancer was back in remission for a few months. She was able to return back to her life for a brief period. And now the cancer has returned and she is fighting for her life, all she wants is to live.

Although Farrah knew deep down she was going to die, she never lost hope that maybe their would be a miracle. She continued to fight even as weak and fragile as she was. She had the spirit of an Angel.

The all American Icon lost her battle with cancer! Farrah was an amazing person who had more then just fame and fortune, she had a heart of gold.

Her courage to air Her Story touched our hearts, She inspired us all to love what we have and live everyday as if it was your last.

She will always be remembered as an Angel.
