Great value for the price. I have always found Faberware quality to be trustworthy. I recommend this set for everyday use for a small family. The pots are not big so if you cook for a lot of people, this is not the set for you.

Excellent cookware. Easy to clean, able to use steel-wool on tough spots without harming surface (except on nonstick frypans). Sturdy, tight fitting lids. Great value!

I got my Farberware Classic pots and pans in my wedding shower 36 years ago. At the time, I chose them chiefly for their sleek, modern appearance and their beautiful curved handles. In using them I found that they cook as beautifully and they look. The aluminum core provides even cooking and helps prevent scorching or sticking, and the pots clean up easily. This stuff lasts forever, and after years of daily use, performs as well as it did the day I took it out of the box. I can't comment on the non-stick pieces, since I don't own any, but I would recommend Farberware stainless steel to anyone looking for a quality product that will hold up over the years.

I bought this set for my daughter as a starter set. She loves it. I've had my Faberware set for 33 years and I am still using it. I do like that they changed the handles on the bigger pot. Will continue to buy open stock pieces for this set.

I really like this set of pots and pans. It works very well for my needs and it proves to be easy to clean since we don't run them through our dishwasher. The handles have become a little lose over time but they are easy to tighten right back up. These pots are really good for a small kitchen since the pans are on the smaller side. The glass lids are nice but the non-stick pans do not come with any lids. I would recommend this set as a great buy. We are planning on purchasing more of these pans in a larger size as well.

I bought this set to add on to my existing farberware set. I needed a second saucepan in each of the sizes here, smaller nonstick skillets, and a pot between the size of my stockpot, and the size of my biggest saucepan. This set fills the bill. The glass lids are very nice, and while the skillets are small, they're nice. Perfect for smaller projects. This set would be ideal to give to a kid leaving for college or moving out on their own. It's a nice housewarming gift for a couple, or a shower gift for a bride to be. You might want to get a stockpot in addition to this set, for a housewarming or shower. The biggest pot here isn't so large. For me, it's perfect though.
