Farmville Mastery Tips Basics

How to get started in Farmville!

Starting an Online FarmVille Game Farm

When the game begins, each farmer is issued a plot of land that is 12 by 12 squares large. Within this plot are six squares of plowed and seeded land, at varying stages of readiness-some ready to harvest, some still growing and some ready to plant.

The best strategy that a profit-minded game farmer can have is to grow, harvest, plow and expand, grow, harvest, plow and expand. This strategy will produce the most profit and faster level-ups in the early stages of the game. The amount of game coins that each farmer is given is not enough to plow the entire field and plant it with seeds, but it will get him started.

If the player harvests what is ready, plows the land and then plants new seeds, he will be ready to expand a few squares at a time until every square on his land is occupied. A fully plowed field will still yield enough space around the edges to plant any trees that are received as gifts from friends in the game and to put animals on..

In this game it is easy for the new farmer to get carried away with purchasing objects for decorative purposes, but the savvy player farmer will wait to buy these things until she has acquired enough fame coins to plow and seed an entire field.

Once the all of the game fields have been planted, any game money left over can be used for a few decorative items, keeping in mind that as the player's level increases, new seed varieties are opened up for use and become more expensive, so it is wise to leave the majority of the farm's profits in the bank for a while.

Choosing the Seeds to Buy for Raising Game Levels and for Best Profit

When the player begins the adventure, her choices in seeds are limited, but as her level of experience grows she will be awarded with coins, gifts and the ability to purchase new varieties of seeds. With each new variety comes more and more challenge to decide which ones to use.

Some seem to make more profit, but take longer to grow. Some give little or no experience, but seem to be the quickest to grow. When determining what seeds to purchase the player should remember that experience points are also obtained by plowing and planting so seeds that award less experience points, but harvest more quickly are not necessarily bad.

Farmers in this game also need to check the growth time of their crops. Each crop will take a certain amount of time to grow and will wither if not harvested. This is real time, not game-play time. If a crop is a two hour crop, it will take two hours to grow and it will wither within two hours of blooming, so crops should be planted according to the real-life schedule of the player, making sure that he is able to get back to the game before a crop dies.

FarmVille Crop Mastery

How the FarmVille Mastery System Works

FarmVille Crop Mastery / FarmVille Mastery. Farmville just update Crop Mastery, so now each crop will have 3 levels of mastery. With each level of mastery completed, you earn a star and will be rewarded with Farmville coins and XP points.

For one star, you need to complete the mastery number of each crops. Fulfill it with harvesting your crops. For 1 harvest plot, you earn 1 mastery. Collect it until you gain the whole stars :D The amount of coins and XP points varies depending on the crop that you are harvesting and the level you've mastered.

Once you reach level 9, you will be able to start mastering a specific crop.

Much like the "new-ish" ribbons when you have harvested a certain amount of a crop, you get a popup that gives you a coin and xp reward.
There are 3 levels of Crop Mastery to achieve for each plant.

If you open up your market there should be stars under the crops in the when you purchase seeds.

Each crop has an amount of harvests needed to reach each level. the number of plants you need to harvest is determined mainly on the time it takes to grow.
For example to achieve Level one for strawberries (a 4 hour crop) you need to harvest 800
And To achieve Level one for Water melon (a 4 Day crop) you need to harvest 100

ploughing = xp points (1 per square)
planting = xp points (0-3 per square depending on crop)
harvesting = coins (sale value depends on crop of course)
harvesting = mastery points (1 per square harvested)

Once the required amount is harvested you gain a reward :)

FarmVille Crop Mastery Rewards:
Level 1 - 25 exp & 500 coins.
Level 2 - 75 exp & 1500 coins.
Level 3 - 250 exp & 5000 coins.

You can post on your wall that you just got a crop level up and your friends will gain coins
Level 1 - 50 coins.
Level 2 - 100 coins.
Level 3 - 150 coins.

Farmville Cheat!

Possibly Better than FarmVille Tips..!

Clear a section in your field of plots, you need to create a nice section of land, which only grass on it.

Clear nine spots in a formation. Now 'walk' your person in the middle of this section.

Go to the market, purchase the cheapest fences, and set the fences around the person. After you have set four fences down you will need to turn two of them. You can click on the fence when it is placed and turn it sideways. This effectively blocks in the person and now you can plow and plant much quicker.

This fence trick is super handy if you have a large amount of area to plow or plant. Currently this is the only cheat I have found which works.

If you use other items to block in your person, he or she will walk around the perimeter and proceed to plant or plow.

If you're sick and tired of running around totally broke while other players get barns and greenhouses and the most expensive villa, this information is for you.

You've probably always wondered why you can't seem to make as much money or level up as fast as the other players in the game.

I used to wonder the same thing. I thought,

"Where are these people making money so fast?"

"Are they buying it on FarmVille?"

"What are they growing and selling?"

So I set out to spy on all the successful players I could find to see just what they did to earn all of their money and to level up so fast.

Lost in FarmVille?

If you're having trouble getting a hang of the way of things in FarmVille, you're not alone. I know of quite a few people who got into the game expecting it to be easy as pie and were quickly frustrated. In fact, I was one of them. So I went looking for a guide to help me master the farming life.

I actually tried quite a few of these guides, but not many of them had much helpful information to give. They were either designed for people who'd gotten all the way to the upper levels already, or they were severely outdated because of additions made to the game since they were released. FarmVille is a relatively new game and is still in the Beta stage, so a lot of improvements have been made to it in a short time and many of the guides on the market have not been updated to account for these changes.

So I finally broke down and bought FarmVille Secrets. This guide has been released pretty recently, so it's up to date on all of the latest advances in the game. I found it to be immensely helpful to me, and I was quickly raking in the coins and moving up in levels like you wouldn't believe.

In addition to the helpful tips, FarmVille Secrets also includes some handy charts and other resources that help you to compare items available in the Market and also helps you to plan out your spending and improvement strategies. I think you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was when you read this guide and put the tips in it to use on your farm. I started to see results overnight almost. It's definitely a guide worth checking out if you're having trouble getting the hang of FarmVille, or if you just want to give your game an extra boost. Either way, you'll be happy you tried it.
