Fashion accessories for Librarians

Libraries are often on the chilly side. After all, all those books and documents need to be climate controlled. What happens when you are a little chillier than you want to be? Throw on a sweater to warm your body, soul and style!

Wear glasses? Use them to make a fashion statement. Don't need them? Who cares? Glasses have become all the rage in recent times, and with the plethora of designs that are available, you'd be a fool not to grab you a pair. Some of them are so inexpensive, you could have a different pair for every day!

Nearly everyone can wear earrings. If you don't, I bet people call you square. That's okay, though, because there are so many different styles of earrings out there, that there is a perfect pair for every lady on earth, librarians included. So what should you look for when buying earrings? Try to grab something that isn't too dangly or large. For the most part, that type of earring screams "Look at me!" Librarians don't want that. Choose a plainer type earring instead, but make sure that the colors of the earrings match the colors of your outfit.

A necklace has the ability to show off your slender neck and your bustline. Of course, not everyone is looking at either one of those places, but it can't hurt to accent them either. Opt for pieces that are either choker style or pieces that land just above your neckline. Stones should match colors in the outfit. Some pieces, such as the pearl choker shown below, can do double duty as a choker and a longer length necklace.

Librarians need spacious pocketbooks. Nearly every librarian checks out books from her own library, and what better way to transport them than in a pocketbook. With plenty of space for everything a handy librarian may need, from touch up makeup to those oh-so-precious books, these pocketbooks will surely do the trick. Slip a small change purse inside to hold your money, driver's license and other necessities for times when the whole pocketbook isn't necessary.

Shoes are your guiding light when you are a librarian. The perfect way to exhibit your true personality comes through your shoes.
