What is a scarf. It is nothing but a simple piece of fabric. Is it just that.... Oh no! ....Well NO! ...It is so much more..... it is a something that comforts, that adorns all the beautiful ladies out there........ it is something that makes the statement for the owner........ it is something that is as fluid as water, and takes on the shape of the wearer, and yet adds on to the individuality of the woman who wears it........ it is some thing that is warm, and is cool, it is something that caresses, cares, flutters and calms, it hides what you want hidden, and accentuates what need to be accentuated........ It has seen the hearts and minds of the centuries gone by......... for it was a constant companion of a woman in any era. It has wiped her tears, protected her from the cold winds, or the dust storms, it has been a symbol of love for the eternal youth of any century....... alas, it can also bring upon tragedy, when lovely Desdemona could not find this symbol of love that her husband, Othello, gave to her........ but let's not dwell on that anymore, and move on to brighter things.

Ok, on a more pragmatic note, a scarf definitely has some advantages that has kept it alive for all the centuries. Well, it is a perfect accessory, easy to carry, to use, and is a fashion symbol. There are hundreds of varieties of scarves, and even more ways to wear them. One can always find her own style from the collection. Just a little bit of observation is all that is needed.
