A Belt is a flexible band, girdle or band worn around the body and is made of leather or heavy cloth, It is used to confine loose garment around the waist and to hold or support trousers  & clothing and also serves as a decorative clothing accessory Used as style. 

Leather belts are used in both male & female clothing since the early age. The use of belts by females depends on fashion.
