Losing weight is attainable depending on the motivation of the person. Almost all people who want to lose weight want it fast and easy. I can say that a person will be most persistent when they have a deadline to meet. This deadline could be a wedding, a debut, or any other event. They are some of the best motivators why a person would want to lose weight fast.

Another instance is when your class will be having swimming lessons soon. You wouldn't want to show-off your baby fats when you are in your swimsuit, right? Set a goal that before your scheduled swimming lessons, you have a fit and slimmer body. Give yourself some objectives on what to do regarding your weight loss goal.

A person is more dedicated in their weight loss mission as the event is fast approaching. You would agree with me that compared to the times when you don't have any event coming, you did not take losing weight seriously. That is because you didn't have a timetable before.

However, remember the correct way of losing weight even though you feel pressured about the said event. It is said that losing 2-3 pounds per week is the best thing to do. So, if the swimming lessons are in the coming months ahead, there will be no pressure on your part to lose weight drastically. But if you need to lose more weight, consulting a medical expert about your diet would be most suited.

Keep in mind how to balance the food you take and the calories you want to lose weekly. A realistic approach would be wiser for you to have. Have a disciplined mind and body about your weight loss but not to the point where you torture yourself. After all, you want a great body, not a sick one.
