Fat Burning Furnace is a diet and exercise program created by Rob Poulos that is currently all over the Internet. But, does the program live up to it's reputation (you can lose 26 lbs of pure fat in 7 weeks), or is it just another "fad diet", that will fade out before the years end?

Unlike many others who have written reviews, I have been using Fat Burning Furnace for about three weeks and I have seen the results and also have a good grasp of what the system is about...the real deal, no sugar coating.

I will do my best to give you an insiders look at the book so that you can decide if Fat Burning Furnace (FBF) is for you too. So, lets get started!

The Workout.. 

The workout that comes with the Fat Burning Furnace program is one of a kind, quick, easy, and it works! I feel that the workout constitutes for about 80% of the programs success. The exercises enable you to build lean muscle mass, which burns more calories, thus creating a calorie deficit without even cutting down how many calories you consume. It should be noted that you need to have a calorie deficit of 3,500 calories/ week to lose 1 lb of fat. So, I do suggest following the healthy eating plan that comes with the program.

That said,The exercise routine takes up a mere hour a week (tops) of your time, but these super short exercises are very intense and help burn more fat than single joint exercises. Unlike most workouts that require you to perform lots of sets of each exercise, the Fat Burning Furnace system only asks you to do one set, that's all! The key to these short sets is the speed of the repetitions, each exercise has it's own specified tempo; i.e. three seconds to lift the weight and four second to lower the weight.

I have heard of these specified tempo work outs ( which focus on the negative repetitions), but never really took this into consideration in my past four years of slaving away at the gym. Well, after doing the FBF workouts, I realized that these exercises really do give you great results, a lot faster than other workouts.

Why Diets Don't Work.. 

I think the diet has less to do with the Fat Burning Furnace system than the workout but it is still essential to follow a healthy eating plan to see the best results from the workout. Personally, I suggest eating foods higher in fiber to help you feel full, drinking a good deal of water, and staying away from processed foods, especially those that contain High Fructose Corn Syrup. Your body cannot metabolize High Fructose Corn Syrup and just stores it as fat...yuck!

Now, For my personal Input 

Why I like the Fat Burning Furnace system

-As a former Nutrition Major, I am pretty critical of diets. In my personal opinion, they just don't work in the long run. Over the past year I lost almost forty pounds without even trying, mostly from not living in the United States (the food in Colombia is less processed).My favorite part about this non-diet, was that It followed the same principles that I learned in my three years of university level nutrition classes, where my professor was a Harvard graduate...needless to say, he knew his stuff!

-I don't like running, maybe because I have never had to in my life. I was a dancer from the time I was four until I became pregnant, so I always maintained lean muscle mass and burned calories. So, I was super excieted when FBF didn't require me to run three miles every day to achieve fat loss. Not only do I hate running (as I previously stated..haha), I don't have that much time to devote to exercise. Between taking college classes, and having a toddler, I'm lucky I have thirty minutes to shower and make myself look presentable!

Anyway, FBF's exercise plan only requires 15-26 minutes three times a week to see fat loss results. Rob actually shows that most dieters exercise TOO MUCH, and our body never recovers, thus we don't see the fat loss we would like to see.

There is a very special key to his exercises though, which is what makes them so efficient, it is called negative repetitions.

-Also, I have seen many people thinking they can't buy FBF because they don't have access to gym equipment. The e-book contains have the same exercises for people like me who don't have a gym membership or even a hand-weight to my name. Instead of using the weights as resistance you use your own body weight as resistance.

Who this plan ISN'T for.. 

I would not suggest this program to someone who

-Was un-motivated, it requires you to be dedicated (like any diet or exercise plan), and I'm not going to lie, the exercises do physically exert you.

-Was physically disabled, while nutrition does play a factor in the program, the exercises are what build the lean muscle and allow your body to burn fat constantly.

But, if you are physically disabled and still want to try the product, I would suggest bringing the plan to a gym and having a personal trainer modify it for you.

If you put your mind to it, I believe just about anyone could use this program. It's up to you, really. It is going to take determination and hard work to get your self healthier, but the benefits will last a lifetime.

Success Stories 

I am a true skeptic. I have watched my mother try every diet and exercise plan in the book, and while they work initially she always ends up back in worse shape than before. This is what really sold me on FBF, that once you lose the weight the program WON'T stop working for you. Once you turn your body into a fat burning furnace, the fat loss continues, even while you sleep.
