Many people want to stay fit, but do not want to use lots of money for an expensive gym membership. Cheapest way to stay fit is to exercise at home. In this article I am going to tell you how to do simple interval training at home with tabata intervals. Before reading this article you should note that tabata intervals are not for beginners and you should consult your doctor before starting the program.

Tabata interval

tabata timerTabata intervals are one form of interval training created by Izumi Tabata from Japan. Tabata intervals consist of 8 tabatas. One tabata includes 20 seconds of work and 10 second of rest.
The exercise you want to do tabatas with is all up to you, it is recommend that you use a compound exercise that activates a lot of muscles like squat or burbee.

So how to do tabata training?

- Pick one compound exercise
- Warm up for few minutes
- Do the 8 tabatas (20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest)
- Cool down for few minutes

List of good exercises:

- Burbee
- Speed squat
- Push-up
- Pull-up
- Goblet squat
- Running
- Jump rope
- Kettlebell swings

This program is demanding and tough so be prepared for a torture.
Do this program three times a week, every other day and you should be in good condition in no time.
