Langley Snail is worried about Father's Day. He is not crafty, so his homemade presents always bomb. He has some money to spend, but his snail's pace gets him to the store after it closes. But as he walks dejectedly home, he finds a perfectly round, lilac-colored stone. Then he spies three baby birds in their nest. Together, the two explore the woods, and Mr. Snail says their walk is the best present ever--and Langley agrees.
