Fat Loss 4 Idiots Reviews | Is Fat Loss For Idiots a Scam? | Can You Really Lose 9 Lbs. Every 11 Days With the FatLoss4Idiots Diet?

Hi Everyone. My name is Jonathan, though my friends call me John (:

Having been overweight for most of my life, I know how frustrating it can be to try to lose weight and fail miserably. I have lost over 30 pounds and so have a keen interest in dieting and fitness.

This lens is dedicated to the popular Fat Loss 4 Idiots  diet program, also known as the Idiot Proof Diet, Fat Loss 4 Dummies, and Weight Loss 4 Idiots.

Fat Loss For Idiots is based on the Shifting Calories Method. Calories Shifting is accomplished by constantly changing what you eat, so that your body doesn't get used to any routine. This causes your metabolism to remain high and your body to burn more fat faster and more efficiently. The reason why 95% of diets fail is that most diets are based on reducing the amount of calories you eat. This causes your metabolism to slow down, so you may lose weight in the beginning, but you end up gaining it all back.

The Calorie Shifting program keeps the metabolism high at all times, so your body always burns fat, leading to a rapid and continuous weight loss.

The FatLoss4Idiots.com program includes a menu generator which produces a personal menu to each user. You type in the food you like to eat, and the menu generator takes it into account, so you end up eating much of the food you like, but it always shifts it around. The Fat Loss 4 Idiots menu is comprised of 4 meals a day so you never starve. That's why so many people have been able to stick to it for so long and maintain their new weight once they lost the number of lbs. they wanted.

That's why it works so well.

Why 95% Of Diets Fail - A little more explanation

Why FatLoss4Idiots Works For So Many People

The dismal statistics about diets indicate that 95% of them fail miserably. People may manage to lose a little weight in the beginning of the diet, though most of it is just liquids and not fat, but most of them stop losing weight after a while, gain back what they lost and even more, so that they end up fatter than they were to begin with.

Why is it that most diets fail and what sort of diet should we use to avoid the same fate and achieve a fast and continuous weight loss?

The main reason why most diets fail is that they are based on a greatly reduced calorie intake and/or a total avoidance of a certain food group. A low calorie diet, and I have seen people go on 400 calories a day diets, causes your metabolism to slow down considerably and your body to burn less and less fat.

You see, the body protects itself because it thinks you're starving it.
When you stop the diet and start taking in more calories, your metabolism is still low and you gain much more fat. And besides, eating 400 calories a day is very hazardous to your health.

Those diets which tell you to stop eating a certain food group like no-carbs or no-protein diets, hurt the body because they deprive a necessary ingredient from it. They may be very dangerous to your well-being. Any weight loss achieved through them is of short term. What you need is a diet which lets you eat a reasonable amount of food with a certain supply of all necessary food groups that still helps you to lose weight.
A diet like Fat Loss 4 Idiots which is based on Shifting Calories is the best bet as it does not starve you but produces a fast and continuous weight loss.

The Calorie Shifting Diet - How Does Shifting Calories Work

Why Does Calorie Shifting Work So Well

The Weight loss 4 idiots diet is based on the Shifting Calories method, so I thought it would be good to explain what this method is and why does it work so well.

The shifting calories method which is becoming very popular in the United States is a unique diet method which was developed in order to ensure a fast and continuous weight loss.

Why is that important? Because in contrary to other diet plans which may provide a short term weight loss, the Calorie Shifting Diet method ensures that you will not gain back the weight you have lost and that you will continue to lose more and more weight for weeks and months.

You will accomplish this weight loss without depriving yourself of necessary nutrients and without damaging your health as other diets may cause you to do.

The Calorie Shifting Diet method is based on changing what you eat from one day to the next. This keeps your metabolism high and gets your body to burn more fat faster. You do not starve yourself. You don't have to stop eating, you just have to follow the method.

Another aspect of this method is that because you keep changing what you eat, you're never bored with your food as with other diets. You don't have to eat a specific food group or to stop eating one.

That's why keeping to a Calorie Shifting diet is so much easier than keeping to other diets. You don't go hungry or get cravings for an entire food group. You can't eat junk food, of course, at least not as much as you like, but you do eat carbs, proteins, fruits, vegetables. You can create a menu based on the kind of food that you like and then you just shift it around.

The results are amazing.

Can You Really Lose 9 Pounds Every 11 Days With This Diet Plan?

The Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet states that you can lose 9 lbs. in every 11 day cycle in which you use this diet (it's called a cycle because every 11 days the menu generating software gives you a new menu). What is the truth?

After hearing feebacks and talking with many men and women who've used www.weightloss4idiots.com, I'd say that the common weight loss is 7-10 lbs. every 11 days, but the avarage is 7-8 pounds. That means that on one cycle you might lose 6 pounds but 9 on the next.

I even had a feedback from one woman who lost 11 pounds in the 1st 11 days, but that is uncommon.

It's difficult to know in advance exactly how much you'll lose. It mainly depends on how well you follow the menu and guidelines of the diet. But think of it this way: Say you don't lose 9 lbs., say you lose 7. I think it's still a great weight loss rate.

And remember, how much you lose with www.fatloss4idiots.com is mainly up to you.

WeightLoss4Idiots For Vegetarians

One of the most frequent questions I get from people is whether this diet works for vegetarians.

The answer is simply: Yes!!!.

Weight Loss 4 Idiots has a vegetarian version to its menu. Once you get to the online menu generator, you will be able to pick a vegetarian menu.

You can read more about this diet on: www.FatLoss4Idiots.com

Maintaining Your Weight Loss With The Idiot Proof Diet

Why is it so easy To Maintain Your Weight Loss With The Fatloss4idiots Diet?

Plenty of diets can get you to lose weight in the beginning. The trick is not re-gaining everything you lost and even more.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots, ensures that you will not regain all the lbs. that you lose.
It does so by two means: nutritional and psychological.

Most diets make you deprive yourself of a certain food group (like no-carb diets or low-carb diets). That can get you initial weight loss, but you will also gain it all back. And why? Because you will not be spending the rest of your life without eating carbs or eating so little of them as those diets prescribe.

Once the body is deprived of carbs, it will learn to hoard whatever carbs you put into it. It's an evolutional instinct. Once you start eating carbs again (it's unhealthy not to eat from all the major food groups), your body will put on weight. It will not burn what you put into it. It will store it. The same will happen with zero fat diets and so on.

By taking on a diet that lets you eat a balanced menu of all food groups, as fatloss4idiots does, you maintain a high metabolism and your body doesn't need to store any specific food group. That's the nutritional side of it.

Psychologically, it's hard sticking to most diets because they get you into a boring routine. You eat most of the same things every day. Imagine how dull your life becomes. But with fatloss4idiots.com you get to constantly change what you're eating, so you're not bored and you have no problem sticking to the diet and maintaining your weight loss.

So both nutritionally and psychologically, FatLoss4Idiots diet gets you to lose weight and to maintain your weight loss.

Weight Loss For Idiots for diabetics

Can diabetics use this diet?

This is a difficult question to answer. Weight Loss 4 Idiots wasn't made specifically for people with diabetes (whether type 1 or type 2). However, some people who have diabetes have reported excellent results with the diet (you can read testimonials below).

If you're a diabetic and wish to try the program then go right ahead, but make sure to track your sugar levels throughout your use of the diet.

Beyond CaloriesDiet Review - Is It Worth Your While To Get The Beyond Calories Addition To The Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet?

What is Beyond Calories? - Beyond Calories Diet Review

Beyond Calories is the name of an additional fat loss resource
www.FatLoss4Idiots.com are offering.
Beyond Calories teaches you how to incorporate H.S. Foods into your diet and to boost your fat loss. It also includes further dieting tricks and tips.

There are 2 reasons why this resource is separated from the main Fat Loss For diet plan:

1. Losing fat fast with the regular Idiot diet package is so easy to accomplish that you don't need Beyond Calories in order for your diet to be successful.
2. In order to make FatLoss4Idiots more affordable for everyone.

Beyond Calories can accelerate your weight loss beyond what the Shifting Calories method and the menu generator can do alone, but it is not a must have product.

It will require some additional small effort on your part to incorporate H.S. Foods into your diet. I suggest you invest in Beyond Calories only if you are really, really committed to a pursuing a fast fat loss process. Otherwise, stick to the original diet plan.

Beyond Calories is only available to those who decide to use the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet.

You can read more about it on their website: Beyond Calories Diet

I wouldn't stop the diet after the drinking night, but do you think it would harm it a lot?
I normally drink whiskey with diet coke/coke zero, or plain white wine.

As for your mother, I'm sure she'd appreciate such a gift and with your support will do quite well. However, this is something you should discuss with her first. Unless a person is ready to go on a weight loss plan, they will not succeed.

I have 3 questions about the beyond calories diet. I would like to be able to drink hot tea a few times throughout the day if that is possible. Allowable drinks include iced tea.(Hot tea is not listed but I assume that hot tea is o.k. is that correct?)
Also it says creamer does that mean powdered creamer? Or are you allowed to add skim milk to the tea? The diet wasn't very specific on that. Please let me know.
Thank you :)

Hi,
I am only looking to lose about 8-10lbs MAX. I am not currently overweight, but just too flabby. I am "small" but want to lose the fat that is stored... mostly in my butt, thighs and stomach. Is this diet right for me? Will i lose too much? If I can do this diet, what type of exercise and/or supplements should be combined to quickly build lean muscle and get toned?

Hi Jonathan,

I used to be a size 6-8 uk sizing and then went up to a size 10-12 UK size. i havent been myself since this creep in weight took place. I have a personal trainer, try running, try to eat healthy, but then crave food groups im missing, so gain more weight.

do you think this diet could help me get back to my shapely size 6-8 again?
its probably silly me asking the above question as I hav already purchased the diet today and plan to start tomorrow, i just wanted some re-assurance this would work for m if I stuck to it?

also I am on iron supplements ferrous sulphate, can i still take these iron supplements and vitamins supplements while on thsi diet?

thanks in advance

Hi Kitty, everyone reacts differently to changes. You should also know that many people experience a slower 2nd cycle and a stronger 3rd, so don't get discouraged if you lose a little less weight this time around.

I'm glad to read everything is going great.

Hi John!
I have been doing WL4I and it has gone great. Now that I have to generate my 2nd menu I was wondering about this: Do you think that if you pick kinds of food which are lower in fat, like chiken, tuna, turkey instead of bacon, sausage, etc you get to loose more weight? Or because of the calory shifting idea it should be the same?

Hi Shell,

You don't need to access the diet every day. Once a week should be fine. You just generate a menu and can print it easily. It shouldn't change the results you can get with FatLossForIdiots.

On the all veggie day it says you can add grated cheese or low calorie salad dressing but not both. Yet on the list of condiments allowed on any meal it lists salsa and barbecue sauce.Do you know if that means it's ok to use those condiments on the veggies on the all vegetable day? Please let me know. Thanks:)

I found FL4I totally by accident on the 9th oct 08 and decided it was just what I needed, ordered it staight away and generated my first 11 day diet, which I am due to start tommorrow. I have susequently come across your website today whilst looking for extra motivation and seen that you are offering an extra guide to those who have purchased FL4I but since I only found you today, I don't have my reciept to email you,(though I have a paper copy?) does that mean I have no way of accessing your guide?
As I said I am due to start FL4I tomorrow and any extra help would be amazing.
I had my 2nd baby 9 months ago and I am struggling to get back to my pre-pregnancy wieght and was getting pretty desparate until I found FL4I. Now I am exited about the prospect of losing the extra 30lbs I have been carrying around for what seems like sooo long! Thanks.

Hi Lyssa,
You're right, it would be more difficult to follow through with this diet given that you can't make anything for yourself. I recommend that you follow a more fitness oriented program which costs the same and works wonders: Truth About Abs. You will have more freedom in the food section. Good luck.

Hi john. I am a recent freshman in college, who is usually around 120-125 pounds, and I am definitely understanding why the Freshman Fifteen exists. Honestly, when you have so much food around you all the time it's hard not to resist, which is why I am gaining weight for the first time in a long time. My question is, before I dish out the money for the diet, which I'm hesitant about because I'm on a college budget, would this diet even be applicable to someone who doesnt have access to prepare their own meals? I'm basically only eating out, since I live in a dorm. I just have to wonder if I can apply this diet in a college setting.

Thanks,
Lyssa

Hi!

I just recently started my beyond calories diet, and I'm just having a hard time preparing the food. I have questions like, how can I prepare salmon? or chicken? Can I only eat it broiled, with nothing else, or can I put like non-fat mayo while broiling with some tomatoes and other veges..? I'm just completely lost at how to prepare these meals because I'm not use to cooking for myself.

5 Tips To Lose Weight

In order to lose more weight with the Idiot's Diet, I suggest you follow these 5 tips:

  1. Weigh yourself only at the end of each cycle. Weighing yourself too often can only lead to disappointment, since you will not see any difference in your weight each time.

  2. Drink a lot of water. At leat 8 glasses each day

  3. Walk in the evenings. A 30 minute walk 3 times a week can work wonders for your body.

  4. Don't compare yourself to other people. Be happy with your own weight loss. There will always be someone somewhere who has an easier time with the diet

  5. Enlist the help of your friends and family. They will help you avoid temptation and to stick to the diet
