The simple method behind it is really just that - simple! You change the way you eat every few days to keep your metabolism on its feet!
It's based on this principle - that your metabolism at the current time is 'fast' or 'slow' depending on how you ate the previous few days. So if you ate like a pig for 3 days (never a good idea), your metabolism would be burning way more calories on the 4th day than if you were previously starving yourself.
