How to Look Better, Feel Better, and Enjoy the Best Years of Your Life!

Healthy weight loss is fat loss. And fat loss for women is not easy. It takes time and effort.

I am a Nutritionist and I know the theories. What is more important than theories is what actually works and what doesn't. I've tried various healthy approaches to burn fat. In fact, I spent several years monitoring my diet and exercising a LOT when I was in my forties!

I'm now past fifty and I KNOW which healthy method works. Unfortunately, I could have saved myself a lot of time and effort had I known the specifics of what  I needed to do sooner. I still exercise to feel good and look good but it's so much less than before. I have more time to enjoy life!

If you'd like to get started with fat loss, read what I have here AND at my Women and Weight website. But if you are really serious about losing fat in the least amount of time (and not losing lean body mass) you will want to read Tom Venuto's book "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle". He has written what I consider to be the "bible" on fat loss. He explains how to tailor a fat loss program specifically for YOU.

Read my review in this lens. Tom's system worked for me and it can work for you!

Book Review: Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto, CSCS, NSCA-CPT

Want to Really Lose Fat? This book is not just for body builders and men!

Book Review by Lori Pirog,M.S.

This is a terrific book if you have been struggling to lose those last few stubborn pounds of fat or if you have reached a plateau with your weight loss efforts and can't seem to shed another pound no matter what! In fact, I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to lose weight without losing lean body mass (muscle, bone, organ tissue, and water instead of fat). After all, who wants to lose weight only to be flabbier than before?

Tom Venuto's nutrition advice is solid, his strategies have been well tested and proven, and most importantly he provides the specifics to create a fat loss plan tailored precisely for you...

In addition, the results are based on your individual weight and the number of minutes engaged in the particular activity.
