HERE'S WHAT I THINK
Saturday Night Live's Fauxbama skit was great!
Saturday Night Live recently put on a skit where presidential candidate Barack Obama was portrayed by Fred Armisen, who is not African American. Many were offended by a white man playing the role of Obama after several democrats last year questioned if Obama was "black enough" to win the votes of the African American population.
The skit was a debate between Armisen as Obama, and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton. The sketch poked fun at the media's apparent favoritism towards Obama.
Many are critical of the sketch because they feel that Obama should have been portrayed by an African American actor. Others in the media are mad because the skit makes fun of the media and what a free ride they have been giving Obama.
I say that Fred Armisen did a great job impersonating Obama and I don't see why race has to be an issue. The skit accurately portrayed the favoritism by the media towards Obama over Clinton.
*****Note- I try repeatedly to find a video clip on YouTube of this clip, but as soon as I find one, it is taken down.
YOUR TURN!
Let us know what you thought of the spoof Obama/Clinton interview on Saturday Night Live
Did you like the sketch? Did you find it racist? Did you find it accurate on the media's love of Obama?

I loved it. Racist no way. Absolutely. Everyone is fascinated with Obama.

Sure the media favors Obama! We'd be a laughing stock of the western world with Hillary "Cry Baby" Clinton as president. She's definitly more of the same....no different than ANY of our former presidents. He has a global presence that would give us credibility on the global stage. I enjoyed the clip, because it accurately portrayed how Hillary Clinton views herself...as having 'all the right answers", which she definitely does not!!

Obama is definitely favored, to the point of lunacy. I've seen quite a few (ahem, female) media members flustered and practically drooling as they talk about him. What a joke! And as for the whole thing about whether or not a black actor should have played the part- major kudos to SNL for having the guts to do something funny without sticking to political correct censorship rules.

The media is so pathetic! Yes, they idolize Fauxbama and they assume we will because they do.

No way, Monkeybrain! That sketch was racist and I don't think Obama gets special favor by the media.

Hillary Clinton References The Recent Skit About The Media's Favortism Towards Obama and The Saturday Night Live Skit
Hillary Clinton recalls SNL parody: Does Obama want pillow?
After years of having the media cover up for her husband's antics, she's upset with liberal journalists for being biased in favor of her rival Barack Obama. This frustration came to a head Tuesday night as she evoked a recent "Saturday Night Live" parody which poked fun at debate moderators for being soft on Obama. From the Feb. 26 debate in Ohio.
