Ok, you're probably dying to know how I did it. Well, I did a lot of research. Hours and hours of research, pouring over articles and websites, gleaning information which I rigorously tested on myself. And when I came out the other side I was a brand new person.
The cool thing about what I learned is you have the power to
cure yourself. And it's really not that difficult you just have to have the knowledge and start taking the appropriate steps.
First thing that you should do is take a good hard look at your diet. What are you eating? If you're eating junk you're going to suffer. Clean it up, start eating fruits and vegetables, potatoes, peas, and lean protein. What you're going to do eventually is ramp up your neurotransmitter pool with this healthy diet and it's going to make you start to feel like you're on steady ground.
Cut out coffee and cut way back on alcohol. If you don't you're only hurting yourself. You want to get out there and live a full life, don't you? Well, you have to put in a little bit of effort. You don't have to be a saint, but do your best.
You absolutely must exercise. The more the better. I'm not going to tell you what to do, but I would recommend cardio, weight training, and some form of yin exercise like tai chi or yoga, perhaps chi gong. These things are invaluable.
You're only as good as your emotional support system. Connect, connect, connect. Everyday. This will do so much to keep you calm and soothe your fear of crowded places, like nothing else will. We are here on this planet to share ourselves and when you stop doing that you stop being a complete human being and phobia results.
The last step you need to take is to go and find a
good cognitive tool for fighting the fear when it comes on. I like The Linden Method and Panic Away. I will give a slight edge to Panic Away because of it's ease of use. Go learn it. You're so close to turning your life around and you don't even know it.
So here's the plan, change your diet, exercise, connect with others, and get some cognitive help. These are the steps that have worked to overcome
fear of crowded places for me and will work for countless others.
I'm rooting for you. Carpe diem.
End Your Fear Of Crowded Places For Good!
