MY REVIEW of Fearless Fourteen
Evanovich is near the top of her numbers game in this Stephanie Plum novel.
Are you ready for Granma Mazur as an online gamer with the moniker of "Scorch"?
What about Lula as a "Bounty Hunting 'Ho"?
How about Stephanie looking like a Smurf while chasing criminals?
Fun and easy to read -- with lots of dead bodies!
It might not be the best "numbered" book, but I think it sure is close.
There is absolutely no earth-shattering reason to read this novel for any other reason than just sheer joy. Sometimes you will just laugh out loud at the ridiculous situations that Stephanie and her crew get into. And reading this book it a is much better way to spend your time than watching TV reality shows. Of course, this is just my opinion.

I truly enjoy all the Stephanie Plum "numbered" novels. They are great "Chick Lit" reading - but, I must add that my husband gets a kick out of listening to the antics on the audio versions.
Do give them a try - but reading the series in order is almost necessary!

POSTSCRIPT OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE
What was your favorite scene in "Fearless"?
My favorite scene take place when Morelli sees how Zook painted Bob the dog. It goes like this:
Morelli cut his eyes to Zook. "It's not cool. You painted my dog."
"Yeah, dude. He's awesome. And totally arcane."
"What's arcane mean?" I (Stephanie) ask.
"Magical." (replies Zook)
I don't know about your dictionary, but "magical" is not listed in mine as one of the meanings of arcane. Hey, but it could be one.

- I haven't read this particular book in the series but I loved the first two. Now I'm wondering why I didn't keep reading the series? Must have been distracted by something else and this lens was a great reminder that I need to go back and catch up. I think Evanovich is such a great author. She makes her stories so easy to read yet rich with humor and detail.
