They get a lot of food donations yet they are REQUIRED to purchase the Turkeys. So, Your Donation allows for more families to have a Turkey and other donations take care of the rest.

Who is A Day of Hope?

A Day of Hope is a program of the CSU, Stanislaus Foundation that delivers baskets of food and turkeys to needy families in Stanislaus County for Thanksgiving.

We at Squidoo passionately believe in creating new ways to support good causes online. By making a donation to A Day of Hope from this page, you are sending money directly to that organization, in whatever amount you want. We don't touch it. We don't even see it. The author of this page doesn't either. And if you made it this far, thanks for caring.

Note To Self... (no time to get into the dashboard..so, leaving a note for myself. http://www.squidoo.com/christopherscottblogged This lens needs a special module added and reordered to take the first place on the page. It directs visitors to Christopher Scott's Blog that will have important updates about the project, and has a wealth of information about volunteering, leadership, and much more.
