Review Of FeBeNe And The Guerrilla Balance Sheet From Marketing Mavens Ben Mack, Paulie Sabol and Jay Conrad Levinson
Ranked #26,286 in Business & Work, #400,382 overall
New Report Introduces FeBeNe To The World - Should You Care?
But seriously, FeBeNe is a sort of acronym developed by a team of 3 internet marketing strategists in their new report, Guerrilla Balance Sheet.
If you want to get the scoop and discover if it's worth the $7, then you've found the right page!
The Big Hypothesis Of Guerrilla Balance Sheet
Parts of your everyday business are costing you money. But thinking strategically, you can turn those same loss-leaders into residual income profit centers.
That's Great, But Does FeBeNe Make Sense For You?
Yes, There Are Too Many Typos
I found some strange typographical errors that bothered me as a former teacher. Words like addition instead of edition always drive me nuts. Or using singular verbs when the plural is called for.
But as a marketer, the content is worth far more to me than the forgotten human spell-check. Besides, Paulie is a business partner with Mike Filsaime I'm probably used to grate ideas coming in mispelled pakages. ;)
Some Ideas I'm Already Using
While reading the report there are a lot of references to product funnels, front ends, affiliate marketing, information products, etc.
I found much of this to be very familiar to me. However, that's probably because I paid over $6000 from 2006 to late 2007 learning from one of the authors of this report (Paulie Sabol). So it's no surprise that it's familiar to me.
I also had dinner several times with Ben Mack on the Internet Marketers Cruise in January, where he shared a bit about this report before it was released.
If you didn't have these mentoring opportunities, then these ideas are likely going to be brand new to you, and extremely powerful.
The best part of course is you can learn this for a lot less than $6000!
Who Is Jay Conrad Levinson?
Can I Apply What's Inside Right Away?
After reading this report, I'd have to say my answer is Probably. If you currently have a business, no matter what it is, the answer is yes.
Example: you are a real estate agent and you currently pay for advertising in order to get clients. You probably even buy those little calendars with your logo on them.
Using what's inside the Guerrilla Balance Sheet, you could allow your favorite financial advisor, title company, and moving company to pony up 1/3 of the money for the same calendars and your cost just disappeared.
You could also create an information product about your industry, and sell it to those searching for the exact same information you are probably giving away for free. In addition to a new customer, and highly targeted lead, you just got paid to promote more services to them.
If you have no business at all, and you have no business being in business, then you will also enjoy this report. However, you will probably only like it because you can get paid for each downloading customer you refer.
If you have no business yet, but you want to get started without spending a lot of money, then after reading this report I can confidently tell you this is a great report for you.
That's because you'll learn how to minimize your costs before you have incurred them. And in fact, you could be in profit before you sell your first intended product.

Forget Obama And Clinton - Here's A Real Debate!
In the Guerrilla Balance Sheet, Paulie, Ben, and Jay discuss the back end and the front end. Now it's your turn to chime in...
Which is more important to a successful business online? Why?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byThe Front End
jooloo says:
The front end is most important as you have to grab the reader. I am not an English teacher, but am still annoyed by misspelling and wrong grammar.

TheoBaskind says:
The front end is more important but the back end will make you the most money. Would you rather have a 7% conversion rate on a $7 product or a 1% conversion rate on a $10,000 product.
So yes, I will agree that the front end is the most important between the two answers, but I strongly believe customer retention is the most important. Many marketers mention how critical it is to have a proper profit funnel in place, free to low ticket item on the top and a high ticket item at the bottom, but unfortunately many forget how to teach their students proper customer retention strategies.
Great Lens!

The front end is most important. You have to start and build a client list, so this becomes the most important...at least initially.
Later, it is the follow-up and back end that is critical to long-term success.

Tough decision (great lens, by the way!). As a former English teacher, I too cringe when I see "errors" in web pages and in the materials sold--even if the information is great stuff. The "errors" tend to detract from the value and credibility of the offered information. Ah well, to each his own. Again.. you have a great lens... drop by and visit mine--you can see I'm trying to use your techniques with mine! Thanks for the great tips and inspiration!

The front end is much more important. You need to capture readers' attention and get them to some sort of a response. There are lots of ways to monetise your work later.

LouVozza says:
The Front End . It builds your list right away and you can start to develop a relationship with your customer. This will hopefully lead to a lifetime of sales (both Front End and Back End) as their trust in you grows.

Bob-The-Teacher says:
The front end is more important because this is the easiest thing to start with to start building momentum. The Back End can wait...

The Back End
perp93 says:
I wish I could pick both because neither is as important as everything in the middle. Anybody can create a flashy front end. And there is an endless list of items to offer on the back end. But the connection you make with your list will determine how successful you will be. It doesn't do any good to have a list of 1000 folks if they won't buy or even open your emails. I know!
