Most of the packaging will say 'safe for hermit crabs'.

Because the wild hermit crab enjoys dining on a large variety of foods, it is important to rotate two or three different varieties daily.

Although commercial food is safe for your land hermit crab try to avoid feed that contains ethoxyquin and copper sulfate.
