The Encyclopedia of C. Feeney

So here are just some of the basics; my name is Chris Feeney, though most people have called me Feeney since the sixth grade, I am twenty four years old and number five of six kids.

I was born and raised in Kissimmee, FL. and now reside in St. Cloud, FL. (Just one town over). I graduated high school in 2004, have no college experience nor do I intend on doing so. I work for the State of Florida, Dept. of Agriculture, Animal Industry - Kissimmee Diagnostic Lab as a Lab Tech I in the Shipping and Receiving department.

My free time is usually spent sitting in front of the TV watching sports, NCIS, CSI, House, The Big Bang Theory or Anime.

I just never seem to be motivated to do much of anything else.

Just for the record, two years ago I did weigh 230 pounds (see image above) but I am down to fluctuating between 175 and 180 pounds. Doing my own diet thing and racquetball was the key to my success, but I would never advise anyone to do what I did.

I have a passion for Science Fiction and have even started writing my own blog The Galaxy Junkyard. Please just remember I in no way claim to be a great or even decent writer, so please be kind. You can also check out my blog at the link below. Feel free to comment, I'm always open to suggestions.

Twenty five years old, and already having to take a moment to look back on my life. I can honestly say I'm not happy, but feel content at the moment.

Just coasting through life at this point. I have money concerns, but nothing that is causing me to loss sleep, but I also seem to be drained of any dreams or desires.

Facebook is not the place to be when you are depressed and want to see how you compare with your friends, hence why I've been spending more time on squidoo than there.

Something has to give/change, and soon. I'm hoping its in the direction of up and not down.

November 5, 2009 - Squidoo deposits $1.19 into my paypal account. It's not much but it's a start. I've been a member for a little over two years, but didn't start earning any money until July '09. It took four months to acquire enough for my payout but atleast I've reached my goal of getting my first payout before the end of 2009. My next step is to obtain a payout every month.

Update 12/22/09

Received my second payout of $1.06, still not much, but it is back to back monthly payouts.

So I have started on the path to becoming a Law Enforcement Officer.

My application has been submitted, I've taken the CJBAT (Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test) and passed with a 92!!!

Recently got finger printed, had an EKG, physical and had a drug screen performed; still have to get a polygraphed and take the PAT (Physical Abilities Test).

If I manage to accomplish all this, I will be able to attend the Academy in Feb. 2010.

Updated 11/19/09

I have finally fulfilled the entrance requirements. Took the PAT today and managed to run the course in 5 min. 18 seconds. Not the best time of the four that took it at this time, but at least I wasn't the one to fail.

So now it's sit back and wait time. Results for the drug screen, polygraph and background check are still outstanding.

Official start date is Feb. 23, 2010.

Received my acceptance letter today. First day of class is Feb. 23, 2010.

So it's been a while since I've updated this so to catch you up;

Passed 2/16 written exams
Begun Defensive Tactics
Discovered that I'm out of shape and PT is kicking my butt.

So there you go.

UPDATE 5/17/10

SCREWED! On Tuesday May 11, 2010, during DT, while practicing leg sweeps, my left fibula was fractured in three places. That's it folks, GAME OVER. Well for the time being anyways. I still have an opportunity to join another class but for now, yep, screwed. I had surgery on Friday May 14 which resulted in the placement of a bolt, a plate, and several screws. Happiness is.

So for whatever reason lets say I was given one million dollars, what in the world would I do with it.

I'm not one for cars, boats, or mansion size homes, in fact I like living a simple life. The one thing I do know is that I would payoff both my home mortgage and truck loan. After that I, I don't know.

I like the fact that I would be able to purchase a DVD or Video game once in awhile, besides that I could actually eat out at someplace other than Taco Bell (which I love) and not spend the rest of the night worrying about whether or not I have enough money to put fuel in my truck.

Oh yeah, I would also pay back everyone that has so gratefully passed a buck or two my way.
