Female Vampire Fictional Characters Cosplay

Vampirella is one of the most popular vampire character in a comic book series. This series is published by Warren Publishing and created by Forrest J. Ackerman. As the main character, Vampirella possesses great extend of super-human ability such as enormous reflexes and strength, ability to fly, and shape-shifting into a bat. To survive and use her super power ability, Vampirella needs to consume blood. Fortunately, she doesn't attack people to feed herself, except she is attacked first.



Vampirella costume can only be described with a word : attractive. Dominated with red color, her outfit perfectly describes the desire of a vampire on fresh blood. Moreover, the costume reveals some parts of her body, enhances the hotness of the character. With such a good costume and characteristic, no doubt that Vampirella is one of the most famous fictional vampire character in the world.

Lilith Aensland is a character from fighting game "Darkstalkers". She is not a vampire but a succubus, and younger sister of Morrigan Aensland. Many people think that Lilith is just a variation of Morrigan, and because she is less famous, people tend to neglect Lilith and pay more attention on Morrigan. I think, Lilith is not that bad compared to Morrigan. At glance, she is cuter and looks less ferocious than Morrigan. As a fighter, she is pretty fast too, and somewhat strong.



Lilith cosplay is very complicated. Her basic outfit dominated by red and purple color, and cosplayer still have to work on the detail of Lilith's wings and evil ears. If it is done correctly, cosplay of Lilith will be very amusing, and if it is combined with Morrigan cosplay, wow....I believe that it would be very beautiful and interesting.

Hsien-Ko is another female vampire characters from Darkstalkers series. Different with the common image of female vampire, Hsien-Ko is a typical tradtional Chinese vampire. Even though she is different type of vampire, the needs of consuming fresh blood is also present in her. Instead of flying ability, Hsien-Ko possesses super strength and ultra high jump. Her destructive power is the best among other character in the game, thus make her the strongest vampire ever.



Hsien-Ko costume basically is traditional Chinese outfit. It is somehow simple, except her blue skin color that make the cosplay more difficult and challenging. Many cosplayers tend to neglect the blue skin and they focus more on the outfit rather than bodily features of Hsien-Ko. Compared to other vampire, Hsien-Ko is completely unique and different.

Rayne is a character from BloodRayne video game series. Rayne is described as cold, blood-thirst American Dhampir. With her vampire powers, Rayne has responsibility to banish supernatural threats from this world. Instead of ability to fly and suck enemies blood, Rayne is also able to use some magic spells such as fire and wind. In my opinion, Rayne is the scariest female vampire ever created in video game, and although she is a protagonist, her appearance to make me think her as an antagonist.



Rayne cosplay with her two long blades and dark red outfit reflects the atmosphere of blood-thirst from the vampire. We could imagine how she uses her blades to exterminate the enemy, and with her vampire fangs she would absorb the bloods to her body. I prefer to believe that Rayne is a warrior who fights for justice rather than a cold-blooded blood thirsty vampire....it's more comforting.

Yuki Cross is a female vampire knight from "Vampire Knight" series. At first, the author shows her as a normal girl but later Yuki reveals herself as pure blood vampire. With her big brown eyes, I consider Yuki as very cute and weak character. She has fears to another vampire, as Yuki spent her past as human and unfamiliar with vampires. The character development and storyline of Yuki Cross is very dramatic, especially about her struggle to survive as a Vampire Knight, to fight against her own fears, and to suppress her feelings as a young girl.



Yuki Cross cosplay is very special because it has very complex pattern of her outfit. Dressed in black, or sometimes white uniform of vampire knight, creating Yuki Cross cosplay is not as easy as it looks. The cosplayer also should consider brown and beautiful hair of Yuki, as well as her weapon which is usually a samurai sword or a pair of handgun.
