Feminine Tattoos and FREE Ideas For Feminine Tattoos

If You're Looking For Feminine Tattoo Ideas - Keep Reading Because I Have Some Great News For Women Everywhere... And They're FREE!

Let's face it - finding ideas for feminine tattoos is hard work. Most websites seem to be aimed at men more than women, but! If you know where to look - you can find some fantastic designs.

I probably visited around 50 websites looking for design ideas before I got tired of seeing the same old rubbish.

Luckily I got an email from a friend who had just got her first tattoo and she pointed me in the right direction. I owe her for this because seeing some of these designs stopped me from getting the totally wrong design for myself (Thanks Phoebe XX).

FREE - Butterfly Tattoos For Women

That's Right They're FREE

I'm NOT telling you what tattoo design you should get here, I am just pointing out some of the options available and why I like them...

Butterfly tattoos are a great tattoo design for women, you can go as small or as large as you like. You are not limited with these designs as they come in many different styles and colors.

I have seen butterfly designs with some of the most amazing colors, I have also seen most styles including tribal butterfly tattoo designs. You could even get two or three different butterflies together on your arm, shoulder or back.

Lower Back Tattoos

This is the type of design which I decided on, lots of people say that they are too popular to be exclusive but trust me - you don't need to go with the standard designs available.

I chose quite a bold tribal design and added a flower into it, the finished tattoo looks stunning.

The one good thing about this type of design is that there really is a great variety. Again, you can go for bright colors, tribal designs or even customize your own.

Sizing these designs is really a matter of taste, I would say that mine is mid-range but you can go for smaller, larger, narrower and thicker. That's just the tip of the iceberg, you can play about with these types of designs for hours.

Belly Button Tattoos

I have seen a few of these designs but they always concern me slightly - what if the owner puts a little weight on or loses some weight? Now this is only my opinion but there is a bigger risk of a sun tattoo on your belly being unrecognizable in a few years compared to a heart on your shoulder.

With this said, I think that a nice belly button tattoo in conjunction with a nice bit of belly button jewelry looks fantastic.

Name Tattoos

Now - I personally would never have someones name tattooed on my body, especially a guys name. If you ever broke up with this person; you will be reminded of them every time you see the tattoo.

I have a little advice to share here, this advice isn't mine but is the advice of my tattooist. If you are going to get a name tattooed on your body, make sure of two things.

Don't get the wording too large and don't use a bold font - this way you can always cover it up.

Whether you want a small butterfly on your shoulder, a tribal tattoo on your arm, a lower back tattoo or your guys name on your butt, this place has everything you need to make a clear and informed decision.

One thing that I have learned about this whole "getting a tattoo" process is that you should never rush. I really hate to imagine what I could have ended up with if I hadn't waited that extra few days. Remember: tattoos are not easy to get rid of so making the right choice is very, very important!

Choosing A Feminine Tattoo

When you are choosing a feminine tattoo you need to take 5 things into consideration.

  • Make sure that you really want a tattoo and it's not just a passing phase

  • Choose a design which fits your personality, if you're not a biker chick you don't want a skull and crossbones on your arm

  • Location of a tattoo is very important, it's going to be their a long time and you can't move it around

  • Size matters, get a tattoo which suits the build of your body, this way it won't look out of place

  • Be Happy with your tattoo and put it on display

Finding The Right Tattoo Artist

Reputation speaks volumes when you're looking for a good tattooist, if any of your friends have had tattoos, ask where they got them and whether they would recommend the artist.

Find out how long an artists has been in business, if they have been around for yours chances are that they are goo and have a good reputation.

Hygiene is very important, the last thing you want is an infection so make sure that you are happy with the cleanliness of the studio.
