Since we now understand why handbags are important, we can talk about them with clear motives and intentions.

First off: what makes a good handbag??

The most important thing is that a handbag fulfills your needs. Most women already have this one down-pat. This is all about the utility of your handbag and the technical attributes you require, such as:
- How much space do you need?
- How many compartments do you need?
- What are you going to be putting in it?

The next most important thing is the style. This is where most women lose their way.

Style is a huge topic, but again the most important thing is realizing that style is holistic. You have to ask yourself, how do the different parts blend together to make that underlying sense of style?

My favorite type of handbag is the hobo bag. And the best hobo bag, in my opinion, is the Fendi Hobo.

First off, Fendi's handbags are just of such striking quality that after you buy your first one, you will never be able to go back to using some lesser bag. It would like living in a first-world country for your whole life and then suddenly having to gather your water in buckets from a lake -- simply inconceivable.

The other thing is that hobo bags are extremely versatile. Since they usually have so much space, you can bring them with you on daily errands. But since they are also quite stylish (the Fendi Hobo at least) you can bring them to trendy occasions.
