Feng Shui In Class

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese practice. It is the art of placing and arranging matter and space in the correct manner such that harmony with the environment is achieved.

This harmony can refer to the harmony in the home, in relationships, in wealth and many other aspects in our lives. The practice has been around for several thousands of years and is still practiced in China and many parts of the world up to this day.

Traditional Chinese feng shui has evolved and influenced many lives not only in Asia but also in the United States and other parts of the world. While changes has been made to the practice of traditional feng shui, it has basically remained true to its directives through the last thousand of years. Nowadays, many use it to seek success, romance, wealth and other aspects which it was not originally made for but has eventually developed into.

From the masters!

People often associate Feng Shui with good fortune. They believe that a place with good Feng Shui will make a business prosperous. Therefore, a lot of businessmen approach Feng Shui practitioners, asking for the most auspicious Feng Shui colors.

Sometimes, these practitioners charge you a high price and give you excess information that you are not really interested in. For example, you may only want to know the auspicious colors for your office but they will continuing talking about other aspects of Feng Shui and may even ask you to buy Feng Shui products from them. As such, you should make your intentions clear to these practitioners before your consultation.

In our life, a lot of things can be affected by the colors around us. They act as an invisible force, inducing things into happen. For example, if your study room is painted white or light blue, it will slow down the thinking of your mind, causing you to lose concentration. My suggestion is that you can place a few red objects around your room as red color provides positive energy that can help you to keep your focus.

Listed below will be some of the most commonly used auspicious colors by Feng Shui practitioners.

Red
Red is the most popular choice among other auspicious Feng Shui colors. Red is believed to be a lucky color, especially with the Chinese. They believe that decorating your house with red colors will bring you good luck and fortune. For this reason, Chinese like to decorate their doors with tiny little red accessories, believing that these accessories will bring them good luck.

Chinese also like to wear red on auspicious occasions such as Chinese New Year and during wedding dinners. They believe that red color symbolizes their blessing for the newly wed.

Besides being a lucky color, red is also a strong Yang color. It gives out intensive positive energy and provides a form of motivation. It is an ideal color to have in your work place as it is believed to make your business prosperous and in the same time, the positive energy helps the workers to stay focus on their work.

Yellow
In Feng Shui, yellow is deemed to be an imperial color. For this reason, some Feng Shui masters reckon that yellow is more beneficial than red color. As yellow is a Yang colour, it brings about positive energy.
If you think that red is too striking to be used in your office, you can chose to use yellow instead. Yellow also symbolizes cheerfulness, warmth and friendliness, thereby improving the cohesion between workers.

Green
Green represents peace and growth. Having green objects in your office will bring about harmony in the office as well as better business. It is best to place a few plants in the office area. It also helps to ventilate air and provides a sense of coolness in the air.

Feng Shui Tip #1- Clear the clutter
Clutter is perhaps one of the most stressful and harmful aspects of a classroom. Make the class room as clutter free as possible. Remove all the charts, posters and hangings that are not required. Do not keep too many books and papers in the class room cupboards. Keep them as tidy as possible.

Feng Shui Tip #2- Classroom arrangements
Most classrooms have close seated arrangements. The desk should be arranged in the following manner.

The teacher's desk should always be facing the door with its back firmly against the wall. This is the power position and imperative to the teacher. For pupils' desks, you need to avoid square pillows, sharp corners, and desk in rows.

Bring in nature calls. Classrooms should be arranged as close to nature as possible. They should be made to depict the natural beauty and tranquility. Use earth toned colors and plants into your class room to keep it natural. Use real plants, free form shapes, and beautiful natural scenery to make your class room beautiful. You need to avoid furnishing like mirrors.

To give the room an open and inviting look, take a look at adding a wind chime or a plant near the window. You'll find that in Feng Shui lore that this can prevent bad luck and bad influences from coming in through the window. Using bamboo or cactus in this place can add some extra protection there and it can help keep you or whoever is studying there sharply focused. You also might find that a wind chime can be a great tool to brighten up the room and to invite in positive influences.

There are plenty of reasons to think about making sure that your study area is compliant when it comes to Feng Shui. Applying Feng Shui for study room can have a surprising effect on your studying experience. You'll find that there are plenty of things that you can do to make it a welcoming place that you enjoy studying in, so take some time to think about what you can do.
