Fernando Lima Biografia
Fernando Lima (born Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 7 1975) is a Spanish language classical music singer and is a countertenor.
At the age of 10 he moved to Madrid, Spain. He then completed a degree in voice and saxophone at San Lorenzo del Escorial, in Madrid where he received the "Paloma O'Shea" scholarship to participate in a Reina Sofia graduate program.
When Lima was 21 he moved to London, England to continue his doctorate studies in Barroque and Renaissance music and opera at Trinity College of Music; he also joined the Monteverdi choir. In 2007 he signed to EMI Classics / EMI Latin.
His song "Pasión" is the theme song from the Mexican telenovela of the same name; the song is also a duet with Soprano crossover singer Sarah Brightman. His debut album was released on February 5, 2008.

Fernando and his wife, Cecilia Siqueira (famous in her own right as a twelve string guitarist) win first prize at the "II Concurso Internacional de Violão Pró - Música/SESC" competition in Caxias do Sul (Brazil)
Fernando and Cecilia give their first concert performance together in Paysandú (Uruguay), at the "Florencio Sánchez" Theatre
2002
Tour and concerts throughout Uruguay
Television appearances on Uruguayan television
Record their first CD, "Tudo ConCorda", a varied selection of composers and styles that ranged from Baroque to popular music, showcasing their unique musical and expressive versatility
2003
First tour as a duo throughout Europe, where they play in Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Hungary
Fernando and Cecilia released their second album
2004
Fernando and Cecilia play a series of concerts in Ireland, including performances in Cork and Dublin, and playing live on the "Vincent Browne" show, on RTE1 National Radio Station, and appear on TV3 The Irish National television station
2006-2007
Concerts and tours in Moscow, Switzerland, USA, Poland, Belarus, and Ireland
Fernando records a duet version of Pasion with Sarah Brightman for her new album, Symphony
Fernando performs in Sarah Brightman's Live Christmas concert in Vienna
2008
Fernando releases his first solo album, Pasion on February 8, 2008
Concert in Zócalo, Mexico on March 29, 2008 (his daughter was going to sing Nana with him but the size of the audience made her bashful at the last minute)
